Why am i making a post about this? im making a post about this because theres alot of argument going about, which one is better. well im here to tell you why there both equal.

Amber Piercer:
This card is a very well balanced card, thoe his attack is not very good for a cost of 4 its effect is worth the cost because you can have an non-stop army of slayers, you use a slayer you bring it back, you use a slayer you bring it back you keep on doing that this is like a dark reversal that lasts alot longer and you can also do some damage with it.

The bad side to this card is it probobly wont last long on the feidl if it doessn't have any protection from your opponents cards,


Metalwing Skyterror:
This is going to be a card in every deck, this will be a card that water and light decks will learn to fear, if your opponent has to block with a creature they lose a blocker and you then use his effect to get rid of another blocker, so you can get rid of twice the monsters with only one card in a single turn which can be very useful. it also has a nice attack that can kill almost all of the rare uncommon and common cards.

The down side to this card is that there wont always be alot of opportuniy to use this card against a light or water deck, because light will just keep tapping this creature and attack with a hanusa or something they have been saving, because by time you have enough mana to summon this card your opponent will most likely hve enough mana to summon a hanusa or something that will work even better. against a water deck this card would get bounced before it could even harm one of your weakest creatures and your opponent would make it so you could never get that card out any more now that thney know you have it they would be prepared.

Ack! These 2 cards are great! Annoying high cost gigargons and stupid 1 hit wonder reversals are put to rest! Piercer is here!

Metalwing! Kills blocker... Thats all that needs to be said!

true kaijudo but metalwings effect wont really help against a nature or fire deck, and it wouldn't be super effective against a darkness deck.

Skyterror > Piercer

DFX thats not alot of info on why you think that, and skyterror is only good against 3 out of 5 decks so there is a chance taht its effect wont be of any use in some duels.

Well, it still has a double breaker.

Piercer is great if you can revive a non stop bloody squito or any blocker wall to chump for your piercer. Tho it doesn't have a solid enough body to last on the field hammer & gate = 4 wasted mana or another wasted turn to recast.

Im thinkin amber peircer is a llittle better only because its a black card and you can bring back swampworms or in R/B decks you can bring rothous back there both good playable cards though.

Personally I don't really like either since there's never any garuntee that they will ever be able to attack. Creatures with attack effects are a much bigger target then most other creatures since your opponent will want to get rid of it before it can do any damage.

Scuse me but, Amber Piercer is far better than metalwing. You obviously havent tried it in a mono black where they end up with no hand and little field. This card is incredibly overpowered in mono black.

I like Metalwing Skyterror better while others like Amber Piercer, we all have our own opinions, get over it. Don't keep arguing that one is better than the other (unless it truly is). But since this encourages debate, keep talking.
