Well, we've all seen the Duel masters show. We all know the main character, Shobu, plays a mono fire deck and that his signature card is Bolshack Dragon. I also have Bolshack as my number one played beast.

Now, Bolshack is a very rare in the base set with teh cost of six mana and has 6000 attack. Also, for every red card in teh grave, he gets an extra 1000 an dhe's a double breaker. Now, who doesnt like that. If you are playing with a hybrid deck with red Bolshack's attack can range from 6000 to 12000(thats how high i've goten him). Now, why isnt that good and why would it matter??

Well, unlike a few games, the attack of the monster doesnt matter too much for Bolsahck as he already can tear away a few good number of beasts. But for monsters like Explosive Fighter Ucarn it helps that Bolshack, since he usually gets out in late game, can raise his attack. And by late game, u have at least 3-5 red cards in ur grave. Especially since many duelists play with Black and red decks which usually pack 4 tornado Flames, Crimson Hammer, terror Pits and Death Smokes.

Now dont get me wrong, i dont consider Bolshack THE best red beast out there but he is a very good card. This concludes my Bolshack Dragon Article, rant, whatever you want to call it.

Well if I played any non-evo red fattie, which I would have to since I don't have any red evos in possession, I would either play this or Ucarn.

Well, i play four Evo's and Bolshack as my main power houses in my Fire/Green deck. I usually get him out late game. I rarley use hima s mana unless i really need to. But with Red's lowbcost monsters and Bronze Arm's and Silver Axes i have enough mana. Which reminds me, i gotta type up my next article.

I probably would use neiher but if I had to choose i'd go with Gatling Skyterror. He's a lot more useful than Bolshack and still has Double Breaker, even if he is a bit more expensive.

OH yeah, I forgot about Gatling. I'm so ashamed. Also, another heavy cc red creature I would use would be Scarlet Skyterror. He would do great in my metagame, since 70% of the people here use a lot of blockers. Even the people that used to play fast decks (rush, speed control) play slower decks now with blockers. Scarlet would kill... Plus, the ANIMATION. My god. Pwnage :p

Yes, like i said, to otehr Bolshack isnt one of teh best Red power houses but he certainly is a threat to deal with. Thanks you guys for sharing your opinions.

I like Boshack, but since my deck's weakness is blockers I use Scarlet instead.

Bolshack still falls to the same creature destruction cards as others. Not to mention bounce and blockers. Besides, he goes back down to 6000 after he attacks, and every civ has something that can kill it. He can be alright, but he's not the best .
