I've been fixing my Mono-Light deck for quite a while now and this is wwhat I've come up with. I would have an Urth in here but a "friend" of mine stole it. So, this is the best I can come up with given the fact that I don't have a whole lot of Light cards to work with. Please give me any suggestions. Remember, I'm on a low budget, so don't laugh at my deck.

I could but I can't afford all of those Urths or Gran Gures let alone trade for them.

I'm sorry to say this but a good Mono-Light deck always has a couple gran gure and Ladia in it. This is a better version (IMO) aswell as much cheaper then the one Tetris posted. If you are having a hard time getting the Ladia then I would substitute her with Logic Cube until you can get her.

Are there any cheaper substitutions to Gran Gure?

No, nothing can replace Gran Gure. There is a 5 cost 6000attack creature you could use in it's place.

Gran Gure is good, but not great, as it can be critical bladed easily and destroyed by the other forms of removal. I think if you cant afford gure, try szubs kin, he cost one less for 3000 less power, but is still a fine blocker. If you have a problem with getting ladias, pm me, and maybe we can trade.
