Well, there u have it, it is rather simple in design and it plays Very Well, and i want to know if this deck can compete with a well built Mono-Water deck?
Hmm, simple and successful. I like it. Anyway, I can only find 1 thing wrong with this deck. Why the heck are you running d cutter?! Sry for the language, but it just doesnt make sense. You got 4 Blockers, not D Cutter worthy. On top of that, they can already attack players, and are evoable. Also, i think your trying/thinking of playing weenies then playing d cutter to have them attack real quick. However, thats not neccessary or gonna happen often, since you usually wont need or have more than 6 mana with this deck. Also, for quick rush attacks like that, there are already your 8 evos. I suggest you take out those 2 D Cut for 2 more Searing Wave or 2 whisking whirlwind. You could also just take them out for nothing at all, so you can have 42 card deck.
BTW, this deck stands more than a chance against Mono-Water. Its got mass removal to devestate water's field, and quick rush, the kind water hates and gets it shields often destroyed by.
In testing, i found DC to be helpful because i often found myself with atleast 2-3 blockers on the field late-game (and this deck has 8 blockers, not 4) and i drop DC for the win, so i think i will keep DC.
I tried a deck very similar to this one a while back but I didn't use quite as many yellow cards...It wasn't very successful...maybe I used it wrong...ha ha
Duel Apprentice - i am not a very big fan of Volcanic Arrows since i am losing 1 shield and they lose a creature but that doesnt seem like a very even trade off to me.
