The problem with this deal is how long will terror pit will hold its value. As the sets come out there will be more interesting or even cheaper manawise spells and effects that will superseed terror pit. But for now it is a very good deal, what site did you use to get the cards?

i dont think many spell cards are going to supercede terror pit... the new terror pit is gonna be more cost efficient, but your opponent chooses what dies, so it is like swamp worm's effect, which is bad...

There will be nothing to supercede the pit. More cards like Chains will come out, with twisted effects that make you think, "this card is two terror pits for 8 mana!", but nothing will ever be as direct as pit. Pit will always hold its value high in the game of dm.
