I've been thinking bout this for a good part of the day now with the naat and fccf. tk is going to be over used and abused i think a way to spread out the taxi'ing would be allowing characters with SS to "throw" adjacent characters half their movement. since ive been coming to the forums people have been discussing this and i think with the new rules this would be great. a power action used to throw and then allow the throwee to attack like TK.
If they can throw friendly figures why not be able to make an attack roll to throw an opponent away also.
But What about damage? If you throw your friends around they may get hurt. If Im playing Collossus and I want to try the fast ball special but Wolverine is not around and I grab Gambit, whats to say he doesnt land arse first on the concrete.
hmm maybe set it up like support where you have to attack them to throw them(though the throw happens either way) and thent he snake-eyes account for a bad landing, in regards to an opponant treat like force blast within the range the wall can be used snake-eyes here ofcourse affects like normal attack... jeez i just reread and now it sounds too complicated lol
You should be able to throw friends or enemys with a successfull attack roll just like TK. The drawback being one click of damage to the fig being displaced, friend or foe. This damage cannot be reduced if the fig is friendly, but can be reduced by damage reducing powers as per normal if the fig is opposing. You cannot dodge this damage with super senses. All knockback from collision with walls etc. would occur as normal and be in addition to the "being thrown" damage. Figures cannot be placed in the same square as other figures. Line of site rules apply the same as TK.
ie...Collusus throws Wolverine to an adjacent square as the opponent's Mr. Hyde. Wolverine takes 1 click of damage and may then make a close combat attack.
Waddya think? Throwing would of course warrent an action token.

I think that the Super Strength person is responsible for the attack value and roll. It would give both characters an action token, give the thrown character one damage (reduced by toughness and other damage reducing powers, hence Wolverine being able to take it) and would do the thrown character's damage. If you fumble then your character is based with an opponent and takes two damage.(although that might be good)
I think guys with SS should be able to throw people a number of squares equal to their damage rating. Works just like Force Blast, so Juggernaught can throw Wolverine into a building. Or Collosus could throw Wolverine 4 squares into a Sentinel. Would make SS actually usable more than 3 times, as you would have guys with SS throwing people all over the board, which would be alot of fun.
