After a month of testing (and a major blunder on my part) we are happy to finally roll out the Articles Section for HCRealms.com. As the title states, this is an area for you to submit Strategy Articles, Tournament Reports, or anything else you feel the HeroClix community would benefit from. Unlike the forum, members will not be able to comment on the article, but they will be able to vote on how good they believe the article to be.
We plan on extending this feature even further.. so be sure to leave you comments in the Suggestion/Feedback are of the Forum.
Hmm.. Well, one's here, on HCRealms.com; and the other one isn't. As for what's different, probably not much.. except for the fact that we'll be intergrating the Articles Section to your Realms account, just like your inventory and your teams (if you use those features on this site). It really doesn't hurt to post articles in both areas.
Wow!!!!! This is awsome. With people like azs, Manchine, Shin-Goji, and Psylockelover, posting great Articles we all can be as great Them!!!! I hope Azs reviews finds a new home here. Thanks hcrealms *holds two thumbs up*

...Noman gently walks over to Balor and places a blue, Android hand on his shoulder...
"Balor...I know we've never been close, but...(sob)...I too could write articles like "Them"...they would be witty, erudite, and from, let's face it, a Unique point of view...and when I become a card-carrying member of "Them", perhaps I will understand the deep psychological trauma that you are obviously undergoing...and perhaps, when my decades old Human mind can relate your concerns to my blue Android body, it may conclude that it is appropriate to construct some of these "articals" of which you speak, so that you and I can become as Great as "Them". We can but live in Hope (which is a small suburb on the outskirts of Expediancy..."
...turns back towards the HCRealms world in general...
azs's articles should EVENTUALLY end up in this section, but I think a lot of people enjoy being able to reply to his comments and pointing things out. Plus, as a writer, i can tell you that there is a certain euphoric high gained when you see 100 replies telling you what a great article you've written.
Not to put down this great new addition, but shin brings up a good point. One of the great functions of the Article sections at decktech.net, is that people can rate and leave feed back for your article.
It's not a rivalry, at least that I can see. Thay actually compliment each other more than they compete.
Both sites serve a different function, in my mind. DT is really more of a player's resource for information dealing with teams and strategy. Hopefully in the near future DT will even help promote large scale HC tournaments and even consider a ranking system for HC.
Realms serves a broader purpose. While it does have sections similar to DT, it has a far greater diversity of areas that people can search: character creations, trades, repaints, and just an all around hangout for clixers.
How large an article can this section handle? Is there a limit? I've been working on a Team Building/Strategy Guide that's about 23 pages in MSWord so far.
Can the article section take it all?

I'll cross post an article. Help test the waters, iron out the bugs.
I'm not into being rivals with realms. I actually like Typhon a good bit, we've got a lot of stuff in common. Fellow web designer. "Realms is awesome, DeckTech is awesome"
good work typhon
