On this point, I disagree, although I must concede the obvious that a netdeck/cookie cutter offers you a better probability to win.
On that note, the third deck posted looks the most favorable to my eyes, but the first looks well made, too. The middle deck seems less favorable primarily because it lacks discard, although it DOES offer additional solutions in the place of discard.
I ran a W/L/F/D control deck about a week back, and split a Fire slot into 2x Burst Shot and 2x Searing Wave. The Burst Shots were immeasureably helpful, and I'd recommend seeing if you could squeeze one or two copies into either deck with Fire. Point in case being that I found Searing Wave less helpful than its been in months, versus so many speed attackers, and of course Pyrofighter at their head. Now, Burst Shot doesn't stop Pyrofighter, but it kills most other small threats leaving you free to spend resources on killing him. It is particularly tasty considering the presense of Emeral in each of your builds. Just something to consider.
In the first build, is Brain Serum extremely desirable over Energy Stream? I suppose that it is for you, but I never found it to be too helpful of a Shield Trigger; it was generally hardcasted, making Energy Stream automatically superior in my eyes.
Any thoughts on Dark Reversal or Lost Soul in the G/R/U/B?
In testing with MY meta, the second deck has done the best due to the prescence of the B/U/G decks. It has the ability to destroy anything that gets to the field. The Searing Waves help to destroy their early swarming while Bazagazeal Dragon is used for late control and shield smashing. The Pyrofighters prevent early rush. While my B/U/G deck seems the most balanced, the second deck seems to destroy all B/U/G. The G/R/U/B deck works fine without Lost Soul and Dark Reversal. The Locomotivers are more than enough discard for the deck. I have contemplated the Brain Serum/Enegry Stream issue in THIS deck, and Brain Serum tends to work a lot better since on turn 3, I would rather play a BAT, Pyrofighter, ect. It all usually depends on the situation I am in. Usually, Brain Serum works better as a shield trigger.
