that's icky, i would never main a dekoichi, they are to early game dependent, late game they are uesless you might as well scoop. ovm is ten times better for the late game, which is where this deck shines, this deck in the late game can't help but win, no matter the LP advantage. i am thinking of maining 2 asura priest because alot of players are running decks that are supported in the same fashion.
before i try to say this deck is perfect, it is not, i should probably tell youw hat the deck does.
this deck is a coushion type of deck, meant to keep the flow of the game slow allowing me to gain cards in my hand and my opponet lose cards since they have to spend more cards destroying my cards than i do for theirs. In the late game most beat down decks are running low on steam while this deck can keep running without a second thought to what turn it is. LPS tend not to be a problem since this deck controls alot in defense mode, rather through attacks, so even if i am down in the game, this deck comesbacks ratehr quick with field posistion and what not.
2 rota 3 warriors- that garauntees me 1 of the three warriors i want in my hand, 2 of which being exiled(it also allows me to set up for a last will much easier) rota basically counts as an exiled sitting in my hand. pot of avarice is meant to place at least 1 exiled back for another rota, if not all 3 of my warriors.
i went with just running 3 zaborg instead of the usual 3 thestalos, 3 zaborg because of tempo, if i am controling the field through effects my opponets hand is gonna be gone anyway, we do not have pot of greed to top into, and pot of avarice can be bad for them more than me, thestalos does nothing to the field if they bottomless thestalos then really they lost nothing, but if is zaborg they lose bottomless and whatever else i killed. it hurts more. then they have to spend 2 more cards to make up field advantage.
basically build this deck and test it and see what i mean.
;o by the looks of it, it looks like a fast speed deck
via.
graceful charity
pot of avarice
confiscation(used for hand control which leads to fast defeat)
last will
x2 reinforcement of the army
x2 apprentice magician
x2 mystic tomato
the speed in the deck is more then "coushion" there is little delay to the deck which is why i still think you should go with deko if anything just throw it in and test it
i tested out the dekoichis when i was building the deck, and all they did was lose me momentum in the late game, since they could special a cyber dragon and something else and boom, they got a pretty sweet attack on me, with the extra ovm and destruction, they have a hard time keeping more than 1 monster on the field a turn. and so far, i have never had all 3 warriors in my hand, and if i did, i wouldn't need rota so it would most likely get discarded via graceful, or the warriors put back into the deck via pot(since most of my cards are stripped from the deck by that time i draw one of those) i am thinking about asura priest in the main either 1 or two of them. not quite sure though
