Here is the strongest Elemental Hero deck I have made thus far. It could still use a lot of help though, so I appreciate any help I can get. I'll try to help anyone who helps me so, R/F for R/F.
I've never built an e.hero deck, so I don't know how much help I'll be ( I only have a few of the fusions).....
The first thing I noticed is that i don't think you want to cram every e.hero in here, I think you should use the ones that will still let you summon your e.heroes fusions but will provide you a more stable line up... with that I would add more King of Swamps...
I would personally get rid of Bladedge and Necroshade... Bladedge is 2 tribs and makes the deck clunky and necroshade is a nice attempt, but i think it does too little for the deck.... I might build a sort of warrior/e.hero toolbox if i was you...
I've seen some success with Magical Merchants and Miracle Fusion.. that might be something to test out...
it looks like you've tested with the deck though so you off to a good start at building a successful e.hero deck... I just don't have a great grasp on what's available to the e.heroes..... sorry if i wasn't more help.. Good luck though... I like the e.heroes... so I hope you can make them win.
Alright, makes sense. Well, I gotta say, you should really try to stick with a particular few, take out some monsters. Add some support to make up for it.
UberDueler: Thanks for your help, but I prefer the regular E-Hero decks to the various hybrids. I haven't had any trouble with Bladedge actually, and I'm the only person in my club who has a Necroshade so I like to use it and show it off.
The Hexes are in just as regular fusion substitute monsters since I only have one King of the Swamp for this deck. Because of how Elemental Hero Fusions are I can't use the Hexes special means of summon, but I can still use them just like King of the Swamp for the actual fusion summoning. I found out yesterday that Miracle Fusion works with Fusion subsitute monsters and those are the three best I have. The 1000 ATK and 1600 DEF isn't too bad for a fusion substitute monster.
Thanks for the help thus far, about how much out of ten would you guys say?
Very nice deck. With this setup, it should be a sinch to summon Shining Flare Wingman during most of your games. Two or three strikes from him, and almost anyone will lose. To that point, you should have more cards that help support your Fusion Monsters. Necroshade and Bladedge are fine, they support some of your more unusual Fusion cards, and frankly, Wildedge is a game winner.
-1 Fusion Gate
+1 Miracle Fusion
-1 Elemental Recharge
+1 Hero Signal
2 Miracle Fusion combined with 2 Hero Signal will give you a lot of Graveyard based Fusion options, while not cutting in much against Shining Flare Wingman's Atk boosting ability. You should definitely find a way to fit Re-Fusion into this deck, because with the multiple Fusion Substitute Monsters you have, you will be bringing out Fusions fast and furious, and being able to reuse one of the Fusions that you only have one of, i.e. all except Flame Wingman, will give you an edge. Otherwise, you should look into getting multiple copies of the other Fusion Monsters, since you have the ability to easily summon more than one of each during a game, and who knows, having 3 Necroid Shaman might come in handy sometime.
Fusion Gate usually works well for me because of its multiply use function, and it is also a target for enemy Spell and Trap destruction. What with the ruling on Miracle Fusion I think I might take out Future Fusion and add in another one.
Whenever I've got two Hero Signal, I always draw them both and never any monsters, especially if I'm playing against Macro Cosmos.
Thanks for the help, but I've got to go now. Keep the advice coming people!
not very good with e-hero decks due to the amount of of fusions they involve and deciding which fusions to use kind of makes or breaks the type of e-hero deck you run.
I figured that it would help you a little in using Pot of Avarice if you didn't have both Fusion gate and Miracle Fusion in the deck and you could always use a little more Draw power from Bubbleman if needed.
May want to try to get Pheonix Enforcer and Shining Pheonix Enforcer.
Thanks for the reviews everybody, I appreciate all the help.
I mainly use The Warrior Returning Alive so I can reuse my fusions like Wildedge or Shining Flare Wingman, so I'd like to keep that in there. I don't think I'll use another Justi-Break because I only have 9 Normal Monsters, and those are mainly used for fusing, but I'll try it out and see how it works. With only two Polymerization and already a King of the Swamp I'm not sure if Fusion Sage would do much good, I'll try to get another King of the Swamp to replace a Hex Sealed Fusion with though. Bubbleman is my least favorite guy and he rarely comes in handy I'll keep him at one. I use two Bubbleman in my Neos deck though, what with Bubble Shuffle and Bubble Blaster. I mainly use Pot of Avarice to reuse both Fusion monsters, and stuff such as Sangan, Wroughtweiler, and my Fusion Substitutes, so Fusion Gate really doesn't interfere with it much. Another R-Righteous Justice would probably be quite useful. If Spark Blaster doesn't turn out well then I'll replace it with that.
What does everybody think of replacing Future Fusion with another Miracle Fusion? Thanks for the help thus far, I could still use a lot more so keep it coming! As always I'll return the favor for anyone who helps me.
Yes you should replace it. MAybe add in another Poly as well. Maybe add in a Magician Of Faith to retrieve your Miracle Fusion Or Poly from your Grave.
I like using Future Fusion with my deck, but the way I see it, Future Fusion works best as a replacement for Painful Choice. It works better with fusion monsters that require a lot of fusion materials (ie. Chimeratech Overdragon and Five-Headed Dragon) If Elemental Hero Electrum was available in English, I would say definitely keep it. It's best use is to get a good mix of monsters into the grave to use with your Miracle Fusions, and if your lucky, get the monster you selected after the two turns. Since Electrum is not available over here, and since you don't have Tempest listed in your fusion deck, It's completely up to your preference.
As for the rest of the deck, I would drop the Negate Attack and the Draining Shield for some Bottomless Trap Holes or Sakuretsu Armors, consider dropping Spark Blaster for a 3rd E - Emergency Call, and try to get two more King of the Swamps.
Hope I helped and good luck. Please look at one of the decks in my sig.
Future Fusion seems like it would be better for me if I had an Elemental Hero Tempest, or if Electrum was real and I had one. For now, it looks as though the best COA would be to switch Future Fusion for another Miracle Fusion. I'll leave it in for a little while longer incase it proves to be useful, however if one more person reccomends the switch then I'll do it.
Spark Blaster hasn't done badly yet, but when and if it does, I will switch it for one of your guys' suggestions.
I might be able to switch out another King of the Swamp from one of my other decks.
As per the traps, I actually don't like one for one "advantage" traps, however I could try out Magic Cylinder and Ceasefire, for some more Burn damage to use in conjunction with my Flame/Flare Wingmen. If I did that I'd probably take out either Justi-Break(depends on if it stops working well), Elemental Recharge, and/or Draining Shield for either or both of those. What does everybody think of that?
bewdguy: Do you have a preference for which of your decks I review?
