Relinquished And Magic Reflecter

Can you protect Relinquished's monster he just absored with Magic Reflector? It would it matter if it was face up or down?

From the FAQ . . .

From the text of Magic Reflector . . .

The keywords for this situation are "face up." You can use Magic Reflector for a face up monster in the s/t zone, but not for a face down monster.
