Because CDIP has been screaming "try this out" for some time
Also, I was kind of inspired to build this deck after watching an anime called Divergence Eve. But I still think it's missing something (besides Gadgets)

this deck does look pretty good hrmm... i would take out limiter removal and add confiscation but im not a machine expert so. cyber orges just dont seem worht it to me though. since you have to offer or use a trap to get a 1900 attk and have the other in your hand to use its effect and cyber ogre 2 is not as good as cyber twin and end dragon or chimertech. so i would remove the 3 cyber ogres and 2 byroad sacrafice and add 1 more sakuretsu , a ring of distruction and i dont know about the other 3 spots
Five headeduelist0- If he removed the Cyber Ogres, that would defeat the purpose of the deck. Airknight Parshath is only 1900 and V lord is only 2K, so it is not the initial attack power that he is looking at. It is the effect that makes Cyber Ogre a 3900 beatstick. cyber ogre could have some serious OTK potential with megamorph and a Solemn Judgment in the deck. But I have no idea how to fit those in. I was gonna say take out the Merchants, but they help the Power Bond, so they stay.
Thanks everyone. To tell you the truth, I totally forgot about Ring of Destruction (and Premature Burial), and as of now, it has done well in regards to initial draws without it. (I'm simulating this deck, since I currently don't have my cards with me).
And in regards to FiveHeadedDuelist's comments, at first glance, taking out Limiter sounds stupid, but sometimes it's the unexpected that may pull off the best results.
But in regards to using "a trap" to get Cyber Ogre out, that's not totally bad if the monsters that are destroyed give you some kind of benefit when they get killed (Apprentice Magician, Old Vindictive, etc) and also give you the tigger to activate Byroad.
And like Jackalghost said, if I take out Cyber Ogre, then it's pretty much a machine deck that works only with Cyber Dragon, which I am not trying to restrict myself to. I want machine options to use with Power Bond when the time is right, like a toolbox, so-to-speak.
Jackalghost: OTK... I'll work on it. Right now the only cards I can think of taking out are 1 Giant Trunade or 1 Sakuretsu Armor or 1 Pot of Avarice (since it can take away from Overload in case I need to use it).
i didnt mean byroadwas a bad way to get it out i just ment that if you removed cyber orge youw ould remove that to. but now that i c what your doing it does seem pretty good. imo i dont think cyber orge and cyber orge 2 are very good there is nothing i can think of besides the cyber dragons that are better so they are a good choice
Well, Cyber Ogre and it's fusion are definitely meant to be different from Cyber Dragon and it's fusions, but not necessarily inferior to the point of useless. Cyber Ogre has the ability to be a huge monster by itself or as a fusion (Cyber Dragon does not have that going). And the best thing about Cyber Ogre 2 is that the ATK stays at a small value (since the ATK increase is at damage step), so Ring and Power Bond damage is minimal, but at the same time, it has the ability to take out, via battle, those Cyber Dragon fusions.
All I am saying is that a built-in Metalmorph effect is kinda cool.
