To be honest, I didn't really like the decks that made it to top 8 at SJC San Jose. I think I could make my build much more successful. Also, Des Koala > Tremendous Fire. I love that Koala.

I'd go with the Dimension Walls over Threatening Roars. Deck looks pretty good, I personally like Tremendous Fires better than the Koalas in this build. Good luck, 8/10

I dont like having any monsters in a chain burn deck with the exception of morphing jar.

also what are you side decking because this is very easily sided against and anyone main decking royal decree is going to give you problems. you are going to need to main deck cards to get rid of royal decree des wombat and other anti burn cards.

Personally, I like blast asmodian since you are chaining so much you can rack up a lot of damage.

Monsters in Chain Burn = BAD.

Take them out, all of them.

Also if you want to win, you will run Fire Darts.

Are you kidding me? Des Koala can do up to a lot of burn damage and can also act as a temporary wall. Mecha Dog Marrons are good too. Oh, you Zaborg it? You take 1000 damage, and I chain on to that.

Dogs are ok, because you get the effect regardless. Other than that, you're right. Koalas are very bad here.

I like the Koalas. They can rack up an easy 1600 and often more. Good Defense. LP protection. Just don't set it first turn allowing them to get out the Cyber and you are fine. I like your build better than the SJC ones, but it will be a constantly revolving deck since it's new. I tested with Elephant Statue of Disaster since Thestalos and Don are in play pretty heavy right now. 2000 burn for one card in a burn deck is awesome. Something you can playtest.

your side board is ok but you need more than just double snare. I mean what do you do when some one flips the decree. sit and wait for double snare. nope. also what happens when someone flips a card you didnt expect. like say chain blast. now you are in trouble. because for every trap you activate you take a thousand damage.

I still like siding in 3 Barrel's. Stops their chain at 2 usually making it very hard to get to 4 for the 3 pot of greeds and the big chains. Plus you can use it against others as well and with no Stein it leaves more room in the side for fun stuff like this.

Interesting ideas Frostbyte, but I'd rather not wait for the off-chance that an Elephant might get discarded to the Graveyard because of Thestalos/Don/Reaper. I've made a few minor changes to the deck that should help it. Chain Detonation is still under testing.

Come on guys, why the Des Koala hate? It's an underrated card that is doing VERY well in this deck so far.

I could see side-decked Cyber Dragons or another Exiled for the whole anti- Des Wombat angle.

i would drop the third dimension wall from your side deck for heavy storm...sure it will destroy all the set cards you might have...but it would be worth it in some ways to get rid of an anoying decree

The reason is that with so few monster, by the time you draw into them, you're opponent will almost definitely have an answer for it. The exception is the Dog, because they take 1000 burn even if they Exiled or Zaborg it.
