You can use him as removal and bounce him frequently via water deck.

Activate Giant Trunade => Summon Lava Golem => Activate Brain Control => Swing for 3k => Set Dimension Wall => End Turn => They take 1000 burn => They attack => Flip Dimension Wall => They End => End Turn => They take 1000 burn == 8000.

Obviously that won't all happen at once, but all of that pieced together over time = you win.

You could play around with begone knave. Kill off two of their monsters to summon him in defense mode, then just take some damage attacking it with a smaller monster. 500~1000 lp for a +2? I like it.

Peronally, I like using Remove Brain Washing for him, pretty much clearing the feild for a free swing of 3000 LP a turn (or at least once)

i made a gravity deck this morning and put him in it as he cant attack when gravity bind is on the feild, also in order to get him quickly add cards that led you draw eg pot of greed or jar of greed

wow i dont think anyone else knew that gravity bind stops monsters lv4 and up from atking >.>
also the fact that pot of greed is banned makes me wonder if ure brain works :p

i use lava golem in my chain deck
now it doesnt start a chain but he is a good way of killing of there des wombat while still sticking to the idea of burn damage

in the 2nd round of a duel they will hopefully side out the mst,heavy and breaker because they dont want to add to the chain so then u would side in ure stalling cards (i dont have to list these >.<)

Lava Golem DOES start a chain since his effect is trigger, not continous (which is also the reason why you can activate Barrel Behind the Door against it). SO this should only help your chain burn deck.

me and my friends usually play pot of greed as a limited card so thats why i made that mistake

use nightmare wheel on lava golem when you summon it on their side . does 1500 a turn.

try a gore turtle with a noeo aqua madoor (orr other card with 2500 def or more) in def mode then equip it with ring of magnetism they cant attk with the golem and they cant use a card with less than 1900 as they must attk ur magnetised card
