We've mentioned this in the past and then filed it under "not worth it with only one lily". Now we are getting three lilies. So its time to dig this up. there are two ways to go with this. OTK lily, like stein, and LP gain lily.
OTK lily
OTK lily needs to get three lilies out as fast as possible, then pay 6000 LP while you still have them to deal 10200 Damage. The problem is that to pull this off you need Inferno reckless summon. Much like in my Witch's apprentice OTK deck, this is easily achieved if you pack a few spellcasters, because lily can be special summoned by magician's circle and magical dimension as well as marauding captain and such. Giant rat doesn't work with IRS though. The problem is that you need to time your push to a moment when there are no monsters on the opposing field, or just one, if it meets the following criteria :
1.It's limited
2.It has less than 2200 ATK
3.It's in Attack position.
That latter part is a little harder to achieve sadly. SO OTK may not be the most valid way to go.
LP gain Lily
This is the deck we've discussed in the past. And I'm frankly quite excited about it; We've had so many LP gaining cards for so long, and so few uses for them, because its hard to turn them into wins. Three lilies allow us to do that. So lets talk about some real strategies :
1.Draining Shield : A must for this deck. When the opponent attacks it stops them from killing your lily AND at the same time, it pays for your next attack. They will rarely ram a huge monster into lily, but they won't exactly use small monsters either, or they could take too much damage if you activate her effect. So Draining Shield pays off big time.
2.The spell absorbing life. Like Ceasefire that gives life instead of taking it from the opponent. Again, it only does so for effect monsters on the field, but since no one plays normal monsters that shouldn't be a problem. It also flips face-down monsters up without activating flip effects, allowing you to remove them for the attack, and avoid pesky cards like Old vindictive magician.
3.Spell Absorption. My all time favourite. In an age of low trap counts and royal decrees, this card is a goldmine. Since they keep restricting s/t disposal, this card, when played at the right time, can easily stay out for a turn or 3 and give you 2000-4000 LP.
4.Life absorbing Machine. You can activate it the turn after you pay and your next standby phase it will pay you back half of what you payed. That means with this card out, lilies attacks only cost you 1000 LP. Not exactly as pro-active as the other options, but it sure cushions the blow.
5.Nimble Momonga : Everyone elses favourite. I'm a little opposed to it in a lot of decks because it doesn't really offer much in turn of a guarantee and takes up 3 monster slots. With your strategy out in the open, your two special summoned momonga's will become prime targets for removal. This deck however likes it, because lily is eart, so we'll be using rat anyway. That can allow you to pull momonga fast, build a little life before they even see your first lily. And when it dies it can bring out gigantes, which in turn will clear the back-row if he dies in battle.
6.Swap/griggle : Only mention it last because I haven't found the best way to implement it yet. Not sure whether two griggle with 2 swap and two mystic box is better, or just two swap, or 3 griggle with two swap (though that seems a tad pointless with faith gone). But its too good to overlook.. You can special summon it by rat, normal summon lily, swap it and attack with lily over it for 3100 damage, and gain 1000 LP in the process, instead of losing 2000. When he dies he goes to your GY and can just as easily turn into gigantes.
7.Emergency provisions. Little Tip from Xav. Flip cards like draining shield, then chain emergency provisons. Stop an attack, gain life, then send it to the graveyard and get even more LP.
Just this past weekend i have seen a lily griggle/swap deck in action and BOY is it amazing!!!!
All day this kid was asking around if anyone had just one griggle to trade and because its crap no one had to trade. But somehow he got his hands on one and was able to finish his deck.
He was vicious...and clearly underestimated because he was asking for such an unuseable card.
I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYONE ABUSE INJECTION FAIRY LILY MORE THAN THIS KID DID. PUMP AFTER PUMP AFTER PUMP. I cant even imagine how well it would have worked if he had been able to run multiples.
I'm for the Life Gain Lily deck all the way, given the fact that OTK Lily requires 6000 life points (even more than Cyberstein) and can be stopped by a single Ring of Destruction in early game.
Another pretty good life gain card is Solemn Wishes. A free 500 in your draw phase, and another 500 for every effect that lets you draw can add up almost as fast as spell absorption. Too bad Graceful Charity is no longer around, but we still have Pot of Avarice and Morphing Jar.

ur right we DO still have morphing jar. It seems that the Lily/LP gain deck is much more playable than an OTK variant.
Nice interpretation :) Are you suggesting Giant Rat committed tax fraud ?
Nope. Giant Rat is all paid up this year. Marauding Captain is likely to be cited for tax evasion though and I know for a fact that Spiritual Earth Art- Kurogone is undergoing an audit.
I feel that even if Last Will is at 3, Lily OTK with IRS isn't really that much of a threat since they have to get the attack through and having Trunade, Heavy, MST, etc. pretty much all at one kills the easy back row removal necessary.
Last Will at three is NOT a big deal. -_-
Although now I only really see Lily decks as fun decks for the time being. They might amount to Tier 2.5 maybe...that's a huge maybe since the idea really hasn't been looked into until now.

I didn't make this thread to assess the viability of a lily deck in the current meta. Time will tell us where it fits. This is merely a strategy thread, to discuss strategies for a lily deck, now that we can actually make a lily deck.
@ Devil Mazera & Makyura, yes, LP gain is definitely the more viable of the two and as I already indicated, I'm very much in favour of making a LP gaining deck that can win, since we have so many of those cards that don't really serve a purpose now.
blue if ure going to make that deck then u should prbly consider this card
STON-EN004
NEO-SPACIAN AIR HUMMINGBIRD
Wind
LV3
ATK/800 DEF/600
[Winged Beast/Effect]
Once per turn, you can gain 500 Life Points for each card in your opponent's hand.
i know i will be using it if i build a lily deck
its going to get u about 2000 points 1st time around
and if vs gadgets maybe 2500
if u can defend it for a turn then its goes to 4000
The problem I see is that LP gain decks have never been good once we got an advanced format...and I rather run 1 or 2 lilys with 3x giant rat as apposed too 3x lily no giant rat and IRS with LP gaining cards.
The deck would probably be really annoying, but it's always been better to remove threats.. That's the biggest problem I can see with the Life Gain and the OTK... The Life Gain cards push out room for important removal.. I still win if i have 100 life points and hit for the game. Now if there was a card like Ring of Destruction that gave life gain, hello nurse. I do like the idea for Griggle Swap though (it's not like there wouldn't be plenty to swap to your opponent either)... just add in a few Mystic Wok's to go with it could be huge.... I'd still play Cyber Dragon, because he's viable for Mystic Wok.. summon Cyber Dragon (I mean you need as many 1 for 1's as possible still) and Injection Fairy Lily when you have a set Wok.. attack cyber dragon into weaker monster they activate sakuretsu armor tribute off cyber since he became a one for one.. Injection fairy lily now has it's cost.. attacks weaker monster, you still have life points to pump when your opponent tries to attack you.. and you probably already did 1000 damage..

i cant believe no one has said this card yet >.>
Its a good card, but hard to protect. I was keeping it in back of mind for the sidedeck, since it could be great against gadget decks.

Well its one or the other, you won't be running both. And we established that LP gain is the way to go as opposed to the OTK version. And I beg to differ, these LP gaining cards work excellent with Lily. A card like draining shield was made for her. Her major weakness is when she gets attacked, you either have to let her go, or pay 2000 LP to keep her. If they attack her with something big, that's a tough call to make. With draining shield you not only protect her and stop the attack, you actually pay for your next attack. A card like the spell absorbing life can help you get around pesky flip effects, and put defensive monsters face-up where your removal can get to it.
And you are right, until now, they have never been good. Until we got 3 lilies, I don't think our LP gaining cards were doing anyone any good, since they don't win games. Lily offers a LP gaining deck a win condition.
