OK so there are a lot of new cards out and many are graveyard effects like DD Crow, Magical Stone Excavation, etc. How can you tell which ones will work while Dimensional Fissure or Macro are on the field?
Ex. DD Crow is sent to grave to stop something, but it's removed. Will it still resolve it's effect like Exiled?
Magical Stone - Do the 2 cards have to goto the grave in order to draw?
I'm sure there are many others, but I can't think of them right now. I think if it is a cost that it will still work in both of the above situations.
Then stuff like Diamond Dude, you can't use it's effect to draw and have the card removed from play and still activate can you? Such as you draw Destiny Draw with the effect, but Macro is on the field. You can't play it your next standby, right?

The current rulings for DD Crow indicate that it needs to be discarded and end up in the graveyard, but I don't believe this is an effect that resolves in the graveyard. (You may want a second opinion on this, but this is how I interpret it.)
Magical Stone just says "discard 2 cards." So as long as you do just that, it won't matter where the cards end up.
The ruling for Diamond Dude is this:

It depends on that spell card being in the graveyard.
So I assume the Brain Control Monsters that you discard would be ruled the same as DD Crow? Is that an official ruling anywhere or just your interpretation? I'm fine with whatever, I just want to know so when the situations come up I don't misplay.
I thought of another one. Burial from another dimension. If Macro os out and someone plays that to put 3 back into the graveyard won't they get removed again?
If so then if DD Survivor is removed from the field then Burial is chained to put it into the graveyard, but it gets removed then you have reset it's condition and it will no longer be able to keep coming back?
basically any card that specifies the graveyard as a destination or as a means of determining an effect, like Card Trooper, will not work. So cards like Advance Ritual Summoning and Future Fusion will not work since they require the cards to be sent to the graveyard. But this does not stop the activation of those cards and really, if your playing Macro Cosmos and Dimensional Fissure, you want them to do that.
For Diamond Dude you can still activate its effect, but like the official Ruling said, if you remove the spell, its can't be activated in the next turn.
If you return the Survivor that was removed from play back to the graveyard, then removed again it will not Special Summon since it was removed from the graveyard. And I think something along the lines of the latest/last actions will be what you take into account outside of simultaneous activations and such and such. I can't say for sure but odds are the rulings will play out that way.
From the best that I can gather from reliable sources,....
If it says: "send from X to grave" as a cost or if a event needed to satisfy the activation of a trigger effect it won’t work.
e.g.
Herald of Green Light -> send from hand to grave -> can't activate
Kuriboh -> discard from hand -> can activate
Thunder Dragon -> discard form hand -> can activate
Exiled Force -> tribute on the field -> can activate
Avatar of The Pot -> send from hand to grave -> can't activate
Emergency Provisions -> send from field to grave -> can't activate
The First Sarcophagus -> send from field to grave -> can't activate
Card Trooper -> send from deck to grave -> can't activate (by the pattern)
Wave-Motion Cannon -> send from field to grave -> can't activate
Tribute, discard and destroy never say the destination of the card. Send is the only one that does, and it is mandatory that the card goes there. That's the point.
It hasn't been ruled on as of yet and UDE is trying to get from Konami weather Card Trooper sending cards from the top of the deck is a cost or part of the effect.
Even if it is a cost then the issue of Dimensional Fissure comes about where you cannot tell what kind of cards will be sent from the top of the deck (monster, spell, or trap) and many are thinking along the lines of My Body As A Shield (if you don't know if destruction will occur it can't be activated) and thinking that if you don't know that all cards sent to the graveyard won't be monsters then the effect can't be activated.
So at this point everyone is at the mercy of the HJ of whatever tournament they're at and it would be wise to ask before the tournament begins how they will rule such a scenario.
Currently, the way most HJs are ruling is that it is a cost and that if dimensional fissure is on the field, you may not activate the effect. This may or may not change. I'll poke good ol' Dan when i see him at anaheim next month if it hasn't been answered by then.

Actually, Advanced Ritual Art and Future Fusion will resolve just fine with Macro on the field. They do not require cards be sent to the graveyard. If they are removed, the effects will resolve as normal.
I've been pondering this for a while, if a LV monster like horus were to destroy a monster, then during main phase two, their opponent activates macro cosmos, since horus is going out of play, would LV8 hit the field?
In this case, you could not activate Lv 6's ability because you could not pay the cost of sending this card to the graveyard. If Macro or D. Fissure is active, you are going to be stuck with LV 6.
