If a monster is special summoned during or after the damage step of a battle, can that creature be used to attack within the same battle phase? The way I interpret the rules, he would be able to since each battle has a seperate damage step and each of those damage steps does not end the battle phase.

Example:

My UFO Turtle attacks a larger monster and is killed. Can I then attack with the creature I pull from my deck in the same turn?
