My question is does your opponent also get to see their top 5 cards or is it just the person who activated Ancient Telescope? I think only the person who played Telescope sees the cards and the opponent does not get a peek at them, otherwise that defeats the supposed purpose of this card. What are your thoughts on the ruling of this card?

Only the player who plays this card will see the top five of the deck. The opponent may not see the contents.
