The card Divine Wrath, can it be used on a creature that is an effect monster but has a continuous effect as opposed to an activated effect.

Such as an effect monster that has an effect when it comes into play, can this card be used against it simply because it is an effect monster without actually playing it at the time of the creature's effect.

Also, For cards that say "When this card is normal summoned, no trap cards may be activated" Does this effect stay in control the entire time the monster is on the field?

"Divine Wrath" may not be used on a monster that has a continuous effect. Try reading the "Divine Wrath" thread in the forum.


For your second question, it means that you cannot respond to the summon of that monster. This means that you cannot activate "Trap Hole", "Bottomless Trap Hole" or "Torrential Tribute" in response to the summon.
