I've only just gotten back into Yu-Gi-Oh, and theres all these new-fangled cards out which I've never heard of, I feel behind the times!
Well anyway, Ive shifted out some cards so that it fits in with the new advanced format for the upcoming london regionals, but I need some advice on if its fine how it is or if I should add / take away from it.
Here we are:
Monsters - 21
Jinzo
Dark Ruler Ha Des
Dark Necrofear
End Of Anubis (was thinking of getting rid of for another Dark Ruler)
Giant Orc
Giant Orc
Giant Orc
Giant Germ

Recent Evictions from this deck include: Embodiment Of Aphopis, Rope of Life, Breaker, Last Will and Graceful Charity.
I want to stand a chance at the regionals while still maintaining a themed deck, so any c&c given will be much appreciated.
You need to prune out some cards and get the deck down near 40. It's not fast enough to support 46 cards.
You add Germs for necrofood, but you only have one necrofear ? You run 3 kuriboh's on top of a number of defensive options. I would dump a lot of your spell and trap line-up, and put in two flutes of summoning kuriboh and a second dark Ruler. Flute can bring kuriboh to your hand when you need it as a defensive option, it can special summon it when you need a trib for dark ruler.
Unless you are running a second DDV, start cutting one or two orcs out of there as well.
That would bring you closer to :
22
2x Dark necrofear
2x Dark Ruler Ha Des
3x Slate Warrior
3x Kuriboh
3x Giant Germ
2x Newdoria
2x Tomato
1x Mask of Darkness
1x Sangan
2x Snipe Hunter
1x Morphing Jar
12
2x Flute of Summoning Kuriboh
2x Shrink
2x Smashing Ground
1x heavy Storm
1x Mystical Space Typhoon
1x Snatch Steal
1x Confiscation
1x Nobleman of Crossout
1x Puppet Magic of Dark Ruler
7
2x Deck Devastation Virus
1x Magic Cylinder
1x Ceasefire
1x Sakuretsu Armor
1x Ring of Destruction
1x Torrential Tribute
For starters Pot of Avarice , call and premy make little sense when you are running a bunch of monsters you either can't, or don't want to bring back. Dark Ruler can't be brought back from the grave, Germ, Kuriboh etc aren't exactly great to bring back and a lot of your fiends will be removed by Necrofear. That makes it hard to meet the requirement for PoA as well.
Draining shields are pointless. What do you need extra life for ? You don't have any payments in this deck worth mentioning. I kept your trap line very diversified because you have mask of darkness in there. I went to a pair of DDV to make those three orcs worth it. If not, you would be better off running Goblin Elite Attack Force.
great fix blue! I was going to go the same route without the snipe hunters, but they actually work with dark necrofear. so they stay. nice fix. I rate blues version of fiendpuppetmaster's deck a 9/10. but, I see no draw power. so maybe try and address that before running it. r/f one of my decks in sig if you will.

there really isn't any fiend-specific draw engine. The germs provide some thinning, presence and necrofood, but that's about it. Jar provides some speed as well. Snipe hunter works fairly well here, it is a problem solver. Could be great if you are siding Returns as well. And it can alleviate issues with early necrofears by sending a pair of fiends to the grave to clear the field and attack, and next turn you can bring out necrofear. I doubt this makes it a 9/10 deck though :p I don't even rate my own decks that high.
I think that 3 Kuriboh may be too many, I would take out one for a Dark Mimic Lv1. Switch End of Anubis for another Dark Ruler. Losing Kryuel for more Newdoria is an excellent idea. Take out one Giant Orc for another Dark Necrofear. And I would take out the Draining Shields and Dark Spirit of the Silent just to make your deck count smaller, and make you less vulnerable to both your own Jinzo and your opponnet's Jinzo and Royal Decrees. From your Spells, I would remove Emergency Provisions, Puppet Magic of Dark Ruler, and Pot of Avarice. I would then add in a Card Trader or two, and possibly a Fissure or another Lightning Vortex.
Other than those minor fixes, it looks pretty good, I would give you 7.5/10. I hope some of this helps. Would you take a look at my deck and give it a R/F?
Belgian Blue has a very good idea with Flute of Summoning Kuriboh, I'm not sure how easy it is to get overseas though.
Blue's fix is better than the original but there's one problem....probably a typo..
2 DDV's and ony 4 targets? Forgot to add a couple of Orc's. I really wouldn't want to tribute a Ha Des or Necrofear only absolutly necessary.
Not a typo, just a mistake. I put in a second DDV so he could keep his Orcs, and then when I rebuilt the deck, I forgot to put the orcs back in :) Looking at it now, I'm not sure whether or not to take DDV out or find room for the orcs :)

Also if your going w/his fix taking out Call. Premie, and Avarice why not add a card that will give you a win condition?
Return from a Different Dimension
or
Dimension Fusion
The rogue d-fusion would work, but I wouldn't tech Return unless I was sure I'd be removing something to keep it from being a horrible topdeck, by which I mean 3 necrofears. In that case you could add two instead of the DDV's, and take out a Dark Ruler for the third necrofear.
I want to rebuild my necrofear return deck, it has such a good chance now with snipe hunter. Return a snipe hunter, and if you bring back enough offense, you can pretty much discard your whole hand to make sure the attack goes through ...
Thanks for the heads up on the tomatoes, guys, I cant believe I wasnt running any!
Additional Ruler and Necrofear sounds like a great idea, as I need more power than just a Jinzo and only one each of those above cards! Negotiations to get these are already underway. :D
Seeing as I didnt know Shrink had been made real I thought guys meant something else, but in this style of deck I think they'd be a great help, so after scouring ebay I think it'll be pretty easy for me to get hold of a couple.
As for Flute Of Summning Kuriboh's (I gotta admit, I thought I was being messed with when I read that name) if I could get a couple it would rock out loud, as they'd be going straight into my deck, the only problem is ebay rarely sell them in the U.K and other retailers I know of are very pricey :ermm: I may have to forego these due to a lack of time.
I had completely forgotten the Dark Mimics were fiends! I will definately find a way to throw in 1-2 of these, as I like it when my deck is speedy.
There are a few things I have decided for this deck though.
Jinzo stays. Regardless of deck type, Jinzo's always in it. He wins games, is highly tactical and has sentimental value.
The Draining shields - are very helpful to me. People may say I dont need the life point gains but judging by the way I've been playing recently by being one hell of a sneaky bugger (ceasefire, germ suicide and RoDing something big has won me about 6 games today) and its alays been close when I tried w/o the shields. Emergency Provisions I dont mind on chucking though, as I mainly use it as overkill (I love to compare life points after a duel- 'so, you had 0, and I had 10,600) so I'll play a few more proxy games before I come to a decision.
I love the idea for 2 DDV's, as I make it an ambition to use the combo in as many duels as I can, and with 2 it'll either be easier or I'll get to do it twice!
Im not too fond of peoples reluctance to trade me thier Slate Warriors though. Fun as they would be, I dont think I'll be able to harvest 3 in time.
Stuff such as D.D.W.L and Exiled Im happy to get shot of, 'specially if it means more fiends.
Also, the revival cards / avarice not being there worries me a little, seeing as I have no means to recycle anything (cept for puppet magic), so I may keep one or two in there, Ill need to think about it.
As for Return from the D.D or Dimension Fusion I think I'll leave them out, as if I include them they will be dead draws unless a necrofear has been summoned, and I would have to further djust my deck to fit that kind of strategy in.
Thanks to you all for your swift and helpful comments!
Wow an excellent fiend deck indeed, especially with all the fixes recommended here.
The only other suggestion I would make would be to slide a metamorphosis somewhere in there. The 6 star and 8 star fusions provide some EXCELLENT tech in some situations and it can really pair nicely with Puppet Magic. If metamorphosis isn't needed in a given round, its easily discarded with the Snipe Hunter as a "bullet".
I'm thining the 3x Fuzzball and 2x Fuzz Flute is an excellent idea. I've really enjoyed this lineup in some of my recent fiend decks (especially since I have a Purple Kuriboh now, though I am proxying one flute until further notice). I honestly haven't thought about the tribute potential of the flute as well, PLUS it makes for extra Snipe bullets. 8^D Alone those lines, I'd almost say try pushing the deck up one more card and toss in a Mefist the Infernal General, another great fiend plus opens up the five star fusion door.
Hope this helps! You should try swinging by the Lair sometime, I think you might be pleased with what you'll find. Check my sig if you're interested.

I get alot of my cards from the UK, but yeah, they are pricey, around 7.5 pounds I think.

In that case, dump mask of darkness and lower your trap count.

For less than the price of Flute you can buy the entire WIND structure deck and get one ...

What do you need to recycle ? I actually know very few decks that run through all their monster options before the game ends. Apart from the draw effect, its fairly pointless. And with the extra necrofear, I don't see you making the requirement very often.
I cant afford to buy structre decks just for one card. If I wasnt saving up for a Cruiser whiler paying off a moped, I would, but Im too strapped for cash at the moment.
As for revival, I see what you mean when you put it like that. After I get a hold of the 2 bigger fiends, Ill test it out, and if it doesnt work, the revivals in th trades folder.
