It's been awhile since I played. Just got back into it. My question is this: If Zaborg is summoned and I activate Enemy Controller. I tribute my only monster on the field and take control of Zaborg. Does he destroy itself? Second if my opponent still has a another monster. Who chooses what gets destroyed?
But Zaborg states "When this card is Tribute Summoned, destroy 1 monster on field" . It doesn't target so something has to be destroyed. If you summon him and it is the only monster on the field. It has to kill itself.
Read Magus' post again. The effect of "Zaborg the Thunder Monarch" is a TARGETTING effect. That mean the target is chosen at the ACTIVATION of the effect. If the target is removed from the field by any manner, then the effect resolves without effect.

Well, here's what the FAQ says about Zaborg.

Your rationale is correct for a card that doesn't target like Smashing Ground, but not for a targetting effect like Zaborg.
Zaborg's efffect gets priority so he must select a target when he is summoned. after target is selected and you tribute it w/ ENemy controller the effect goes away. you can't reselect a new target just because your current one was removed.

First off, cards in this game don't have priority. The player does. It has always been like that. Effects don't just "go away" in this game either. They either resolve with effect or resolve without effect. There are reasons why we have this kind of terminology established.
