1. I activate future fusion to call upon chimeratech overdragon. Discard almost everything in my deck to the g-yard. I place MAGIC REFLECTOR on play so IŽll protect my future fusion magic card.
On the second standby, chimeratech destroys everything including my magic reflector counter on future fusion, so Chimera DOESNT DIE as future fusuion remains equipped to the monster.... CORRECT?
2. If I do the same than #1 question but I donŽt place the magic reflector counter in it, WHERE DOES THE FUsiON SUMMONED CHIMERA GOES TO?
....The Graveyard (as it was properly fusion summoned) or the FUSION DECK?
3. If question #2 was to be the Graveyard, WHY EVERYONE PLAYS OVERLOAD FUSION to re-summon it from the graveyard, if the card clearly says: SPECIaL FUSION SUMMON ONE DARK MACHINE TYPE FROM YOuR FUSION DECK???
Please help me, I know there have been other posts about this, but as usual my brother doesnŽt believe...
1. Correct
2. To the Graveyard
3. People usually run more than one Chimeratech. They don't use Overload Fusion to re-summon the same Chimeratech, the use it to summon another one from the Fusion Deck.

Wrong. Chimeratech doesn't destroy anything. It sends cards to the Graveyard when it's successfully Fusion Summoned to the field.

Graveyard.

Thanks.
Overload Fusion summons from the Fusion Deck, not the Graveyard. If you have copy of Chimeratech in your Graveyard, Overload Fusion can't summon that copy of Chimeratech. The fusion monster has to be located in the Fusion Deck for Overload Fusion to summon anything.
so i can future fusion them all then that same turn use overload fusion
Future Fusion all of what? The machine monsters you send?
Of course you can play Future Fusion and then Overload Fusion right afterwards to bring out a Chimeratech. People have been doing that for a long time now.

1. chimeratech doesn't destroy, it sends to the graveyard.
2. once future fusion is removed from the field chimeratech goes to the graveyard.
3. you get another one from your fusion deck.
Future Fusion is a tool (best put to use) to get fusion material for Chimeratech into the graveyard where it can then be harvested for Overload Fusion to summon a Chimeratech Overdragon on that very same turn (Future Fusion is a bit slow and it will kill the Chimera because of Chimera's effect), instead of having to wait for 2 Stand-by Phases...
You could have another Chimeratech in-waiting for Future Fusion (if it lasts that long), but Chimera decks usually try to go for the one-turn kill, so I think that is why mortals suggests 1 Chimeratech Overdragon (never played with or against this, but just my observation).
Mortals is right, you only need 1. Future Fusion requires a copy to be in your fusion deck, but it doesn't summon it for another two turns, meaning that same copy is still a legal target in the fusion deck for overload fusion if used before Future fusion resolves.
If you Future and don't Overload or trunade or have Future get destroyed before your Chimera hits the field then you need 2 copies of Chimera. If you Future and OVerload before future resolves then you only need 1 copy. It's safer to get 2 copies just in case you want to play the early Future, but don't have m/t removal or Overload.
