OK, So I've been thinking on building a King Dragun deck.
Anyone have any tactics/suggestions if running it with Haurus lv 6 and 8 would be a good idea?
As well as suggestions on the deck contents.
So far i've only got
2-3 Lord of D.
2 Ragnarok
2 haurus lv 6
1-2 haurus lv 8
3 King Dragun
2-3 cyber dragon
Possibly
2 white horned dragon
&
1-2 Kyser glider
Might use these as sideboard, not sure.
2 enemy controler
2 brian control
1 snatch steal
1 heavy
2-3 dragons mirror
That's all so far, not so good I guess, need help badly, and tactics for running the thing with haurus, or any other type of card to benifit with the dragun effect.
You actually don't need lord of D if you want to get king dragun out. It would work better if you just use the light-hexed fusion instead so you don't need to use poly to bring out king dragun.
Some of the cards that you should definitely use if you are planning to build a dragon deck is....
1. masked dragon - good searcher, thin your deck and enable you to bring out f.g.d sooner with dragon mirror
2. twin-headed behemoth - can be search out by mask dragon and is a good shield and tribute fodder for horus
3. future fusion - since you are using cyber dragon in here, you might as well use this to bring out cyber twin, cyber end or f.g.d. out
4. exploder dragon - again, can be search by mask dragon and is like a newdoria for dragon type
5. stamping destruction - if your deck is mostly made with dragon, this card could be good since it's like a mst that's not quickplay for dragon deck.
I've never actually built a working dragun deck(despite several efforts). I will advise the use of royal decree if you choose to play it. Since the most commonly played non targeting effects are traps(mirror force, torrential, bottomless). With dragun and decree out the only commonly played thing you realy need to worry about is smashing ground.
King Dragun is dark, but with the Hex Sealed Fusion monsters, the element only matter if your using the effect that your tribute monsters from the field to special summon a Fusion Monster. If you use the other effect as just a fusion sub, the element of the Hex dosent matter, but with Light Hexes you can tribute one off and a Cyber Dragon for Cyber Twin. Using a Dark Hex will allow you to Tribute one off and Divine Dragon Ragnarock/Lord of D. for King Dragun (but as this is not a proper fusion summon, when the fusion monster gets destroyed or removed from the field, you won't be able to special summon it again)

lol..I was confused about this before when i bought a cyber twin dragon... in the text it says it can only be summoned by the above fusion monsters but you're still aloud to use the light hex?
The effect that allows you to tribute the Light Hex and a Cyber Dragon to Special Summon Cyber Twin as its not a fusion summon, but just a special summon.
Well, I was actually thinking of playing 1 or 2 flute of summoning dragon, capable of giving me an upper hand on field, and able to bring out king dragun with ease. Then of course using the dragons mirror.
