I am trying to start a deck and i was wondering if rare metal dragon and 2 familiar knights would be good to include in a deck (i am trying to make a dark monster deck)


What would be some good combos or other cards to include?

i want to stick to a mostly warrior thme but would The Masked Beast be a good card to add in?

To both posts, no.

- Rare Metal Dragon is too conditional. Strength rarely matters anymore, it's the effect.
- Familiar Knight benefits your opponent as well, so no.
- The Masked Beast is a Ritual, and has no effect. In other words, Vanilla that's not worth your time or resources.

An attribute deck of any sort usually begins with the searcher of that Attribute. In this case, you'd need Mystic Tomoto. 3 of them. If you want warriors, you can toss in some Mataza the Zapper, Don Zaloog, and Assorted Dark Scorpions. Maenae is especially good for her searching ability. Zombyra the Dark and The Fiend Megacyber are also good Dark Warriors, and would make good Deck Devastation Virus bait. The list goes on.

what if i use cards like ryu-kishin- clown's effect with familiar knight's or combine some trap cards with their effect?

Whenever you think of a combo, you have to ask yourself what the combo does for you and how much of an advantage over your opponent your investment will net you. I'm not talking strictly about card advantage, I'm talking about field position and board presence too.

Your combo of Ryu-kishin Clown with Familiar Knight give your opponent both better resources and field position than you. The monster they summon will probably have more attack than a puny 800 attacker with a mediocre effect. The basis of a DARK attribute Warrior deck will either rely on the warriors' high attack and effects, or defense and effects. I personally prefer defense with better effects. Cards like Familiar Knight have neither good stats nor too game-breaking an effect. Look at your cardpool for both stats AND effects.
