the card says " move the turn count forward by 1 turn. the turn in which this card is activated continues as normal" does that mean u can summon a monster and then use this card and then summon another monster after it cause its counted as a new turn. plz tell me cause if its right im putting a couple in my deck.
No it does not let you do that. All it does is move the number of turns taken so far up by one number. It's main use is with Final Countdown; Pyro Clock of Destiny helps it reach 20 sooner.
Other than that, I can't think of any other cards it could be used with.
You can use "Pyro Clock of Destiny" to advance the turn count by 1 for these cards: "Deck Devastation Virus", "Swords of Revealing Light", "Lightforce Sword", or "Final Countdown".
Would I be wrong in assuming Crush Card Virus would also work, since DDV is listed?
No, actually you would be right, Crush Card can also be affected by Pyro Clock, ude has just not updated the rules for Crush Card, they just made a copy/paste type thing from DDV.
Basically it works for any effect that says to count turns, but doesn't count phases, or refers to a specific turn:
swords of revealing light/lightforce sword:
"...for 3 of your opponent's turns."
final countdown:
"After 20 turns..."
the virus's text screws this up, as it looks like it refers to a specific turn (the 3rd turn) instead of saying something like "for 3 turns"
Other cards that refer to a turn like this (the great moth family) don't work because they don't count turns, simply refer to a specific turn you can do something. Also things like goblin atk force that mention the "next turn" are also referring to a specific turn instead of counting them.
This would be a rather simple concept if not for the text used on the viruses...
ok thnx to u all i just wanted to no cause if u read it u might think that u can actually do that. but then again if u can i bet everyone would of already have them in there deck.
