If I have a monsters and spirit barrier active on my side, do my opponents attacks still kill my monsters?

Your monsters still die, but you take no LP damage.

Awsome combo is Astral Barrier + Spirit Barrier, it basically nullifies all monsters that want to attack(some monsters exempt)

There is a new text on waboku stating that monsters cannot be destroyed by battle this way. Hope that helps ^^; I use to think spirit barrier didn't kill my monsters also >.>;

Yes he can, as long as the timing and spell speed for a card are correct, you can freely chain to another card/effect.
