update: I'm not yet interested in buying more packs, just making do with what I have and seeing how far I can go on it. believe me I put alot of thought into this wrecker to create the consistent hands and aggression of a warrior ratbox deck balanced with the patient tradeoffs.
To be honest, I don't really see the necessity of the rats in this deck. I know that they add a little speed, But I personally don't like searchers unless they have 5 or more targets besides themselves. Just for versatility. That ensures that you can nearly always grab something usefuil. SO if you want to keep them, drop Thestalos and Twin headed and add another Wildheart and a treeborn Frog. The frog works slightly better than the Behemoth since it will come back every turn. Other than that this deck looks pretty solid.
>.> I did a little playtesting and in order for me to use mystic sowrdsman lv.2 I have to use a more aggressive monster lineup. Dekoichis great but it's one of the many cards I wind up setting like rat, reaper and jujitsu master to get the effects off. this makes me slower but the reasoning for that was I needed avarice to work. Avarice is such a unstable and demanding card that it strains my deck like it's done here.
I'm making some updates so I can keep my ratbox engine as the primary theme.
>.) Ha I got it now. the deck is working ok these spin effect monsters actually give me an extra turn to build up my field. And so far it's beaten a machine chimeratech deck and maurauding rush.
I could explain the numerous situations in which zombyra the dark is handy against things like gravekeepers spy, cyber dragon, card trooper, and even the six samurai.
But there is a great trait he has in the ability to not attack directly. yes ability.
A common play in todays meta is to brain controll a opponents large monster and attack them with it to score easy damage. But if they take controll of zombyra they will need to tribute it or give it back as he deals no direct damage.
Because of this alone zombyra is a great opening beatstick or a good card to maintain ones field presense by smashing enemy defenders.
