quick quetion on something

say my opponent uses somethin like monster reborn or something else to get one of my monsters from my grave or hand doesnt matter to their side of the field

now say i use somethin that returns a card to its "owners hand"
am i the owner or is my opponent the owner of said card in quetion and does it go back to his hand?

The owner is the person which started out with the card. In this case the owner is you.

youre the owner. he's the controller.
