I was play-testing my new Crystal Beast Deck and ended up coming across 2 scenarios which I questioned if I could use the 3rd effect of Rainbow Ruins.

Scenario 1:
I play crystal beast sapphire pegasus. My opponent activates Bottomless Trap Hole. Can I use the 3rd effect of Rainbow Ruin to sacrifice pegasus and negate botmless, stopping my monster from being removed, or do I have to use another crystal beast as a tribute? If I can sacrifice pegasus, does it still get it's effect?

Scenario 2:

I attack with a CB. My opponent uses mirror force or shrink. Can I sacrifice a CB to negate either of those two cards, and, if so, can I use the same CB and trigger a replay, getting rid of the mirror force or shrink?

Those questions where really bugging me. Thanks for the help!

1. As long as you have 3+ Crystal Beasts on the field (s/t zone), then yes you would be able to activate the 3 effect, and yes Pegasus being successfully summoned would get it's effect as well.


2. Yes, it's perfectly legal.

Yes, I was only thinking about why would the effect stack up @.@ atm.... s/t zone in my mind.

although if they activate shrink in the damage step you cant rainbow ruins it
