I have been hearing about the backroom healers technique for Fantastic Four based teams (Mary Jane and Alicia Masters. FF hitters get damaged, push MJ, declare her FF, she dies and a free heal. Do the same for Alicia and you have two automatic heals at ANY RANGE for IIRC 10-11 points)

I am not sure this would work, as the FF definition says:

Fantastic Four: When a member of the Fantastic Four team is defeated (shows 3 KOs in the stat slot), every other friendly Fantastic Four team member receives 1 click of healing.

By the definition there, a token NEVER shows 3 KO's

It's early and I feel like rule lawyering.

That maneuver will work. The characters are being KOd and defeated.

That sure is cheap.

Well, I think the parenthetical description of what defeated means is not exactly part of the definition, just more of "reminder" text. The rules for tokens state they are KO'd after taking one click of damage, so I think this will continue to work.
