This just kinda looked me in the eyes yesterday..
So I tested it in some Aggro decks with Hydro and Asura and Cards like that and I have to say it worked very well.. Could be that my meta play Apprentice Monarchs atm but still :p
What do you guys think of this is decks that don't set?
Just for reference: Monster Cards cannot be Set face-down. Monsters Set in Defense Position are Normal Summoned in face-up Defense Position.
How would Light of Intervention be good tech against Apprentice Monarch builds? If anything, that card would make the deck type better since the monster now gets summoned in defense right out the hand, which means you can put a counter on anything that takes counters while not having to worry about Nobleman of Crossout.
I'll give you that.. but Dont have to worry about Ovd, Seer, Faith, Spies, or anything else like that..
Plus when I'm running Hydrogeddon or Asura the Apprentice will not effect all that much.

It would be a cool card to use with Final Attack Orders. Maybe a Beatdown deck with
3 Final Attack Orders
2 Light of Intervention
could be its starting basis, but that would most like be a bit slower than regular Goblin Beatdown decks that run Skill Drain since "LoI" wouldnt do much on its own without "FAO".
Now say if my Last Warrior From Another Planet Was on the field, and mt Light of Intervention was on too, could they set face up?! or is that a summon, so therefore illegal, because my friend says that he can set faceup, and i feel almost as if it should be a summon, because if so its a nice lock

It's called reading.

Thank You For The Answer, but as for the inbetween comment, I think i know how to read...how else could i see the whole Light of Intervention thread?!
Common Sense is a BIG part of life and Politeness is as well, and with short and snide comments like "It's Called Reading"
its a wonder the game goes anywhere with people like that everywhere, i've been to 2 tournaments and thats probably gonna be it, because of young little jerks that just get their liscense roll their eyes and say crap like, "its on the card", when you ask why or how an effect resolves. if you actually look at some of the context of the cards many of their little rules contradict themselves.
