So now that it is confirmed how will we use this card?
We can get the obvious uses out of the way first, any deck that uses frog or baboon will auto include at least 1 copy of burial in their deck, and zombies deck will prob throw one in as well, the ability to place an il blud directly in the grave for book of life shananigans is just too good.
So what else can use this card?
1) Samurai--I've been thinking about this, on one hand burial is technically a -1, which is tough for samurais to handle anyway, on the other hand it is a way for samurais to finally search out grandmaster so it may be worth it. Thoughts?
2) cyberdark--searchable hunter dragon? add in the missing piece you need for cyberdark impact? Yeah that works
3) cthonian emperor dragon--I dont know how well this would work, but the idea of a guy who can attack direct for 4800 is pretty valuable. Basing a deck around him as well as normal monster revival might be a really good idea. Something to think about.
4) horus? At the end of the last format I was playing with horus king dragun that used 3 dragons mirror. I cant help but think throwing a dark hex sealed into the grave for the ability to bring out king dragun can be really nasty.
5) destiny heroes/high tribute decks--Dheroes are a given. Throwing a malicious into the grave is great as is throwing a dasher right into the grave to abuse the dmoc you are going to draw. I also think a dhero/pheonix build might be plausible. Having raiza spin pheonix is not as painful when you have dasher in the grave to resummon him. Plus with trade in pheonix is even less of a dead draw.
What esle. I'm sure theres tons I missed, what is everyone planning on doing with burial?
Big City Deck - Fetch For Something...say Ocean/Wildheart/Stratos(If you don't have it out already) then summon another Elemental Hero Ocean and protect it for one turn(very easy for big city coz of 3 Solemns, 2-3 Rugs, 2-3 Roars).
Exodia - Exodia becomes playable again! Activate Card of Safe Return, Play foolish burial to send Manticore to graveyard, play another Foolish or just simply flip Magician of Faith to get back the Burial and send your second Manticore..and then just loop to exodia!
Monarchs - Foolish burial into Treeborn Frog and pray your opponent didn't side into D.D. Crow.
L&DD-Hero - Um.....Send Disk Commander/Malicious/Dasher/DMoC.....then C-C-C-COMBO WITH:

Light and Darkness Dragon
Light/Dragon/8/2800/2400
This card cannot be special summoned. This cards attribute is also treated as "Dark". As long as this card is face up on your side of the field the activation of magic/trap and effect monster cards are negated. For every card activation that this card negates this card reduces it's ATK by 500. When this card is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, select one monster from your graveyard. Destroy every card on your side of the field and special summon the selected monster to your side of the field.
Exodia Necros!!!!!!! i am making an killer deck with it.......( proxys of course ) and i can get all 5 pieces in the grave in about a turn or two.......then i just have to draw necros

WOW, how the heck did I miss that. Maticore + foolish is insane. Nice call. I've been thinking of a deck to build around foolish and that is a good starting point. Manticore + baboon + card of safe return. Good times.
Well i made a Exodia Necros deck today and it works wickidly insaine........you should check it out if you want to see one of the old main purpose in the game..........( before released in the old Video Games )

I'll be testing out at least one of these in my Six Samurai deck for just this reason. Put Foolish Burial together with The Warrior Returning Alive, Call of the Haunted, Premature Burial, and all of the new goodies we're getting in GLAS and you have great ways to search out Grandmaster of the Six Samurai or any other Samurai you might need. This is just what the doctor ordered.

Another deck that I'm running that can't wait for Foolish Burial. Drop Dragons into the graveyard for your Cyberdark monsters to grab, drop Machine's into the graveyard for Overload Fusion, and dump Cyberdark monsters for Cyberdark Impact. Lets not forget about Pot of Avarice that I'm also running with this deck. Tons of shenanigans you can pull here. This deck is so underrated right now it's not even funny.
What other decks am I running that might benefit from this card? Any deck that's running Volcanic Shell. Use Foolish Burial, drop one Shell into the graveyard so you can grab another one. Then you've got your discard engine online and all you need to do is play The Transmigration Prophecy or Pot of Avarice to make sure you keep putting your Shells back into your deck.
For Strike Ninja you can use Foolish Burial to dump DD Scout Planes into the graveyard for easy removal.
This card is simple and versatile. I've been waiting for it forever.
of course the only deck that can take full advantage of a card like foolish burial is one that likes to put cards in the grave and leave them there!!! say hello to the bane of the living, the most menacing and powerful zombie family, the all powerful skull servants!!!! mwawahahahahaha!!!

Generation Shift + Foolish Burial + IL Blud
Send one to the grave by using foolish burial, summon it with IL Blud then use Generation Shift. Or if you already have one in your hand you can discard it to summon another one from your GY then use Generation Shift.
I too, have been waiting for this card for quite some time now. I used it on the DS game for a long time, before it was released over here. Foolish Burial will be a widely used card. All of the decks mentioned, plus E-Hero decks in general could get a boost. I have Foolish Burial in hand, along with Elemental Hero Bladedge. Whatever do I do?? Foolish a Necroshade from my deck, thats what. Or you could load the graveyard up for Miracle Fusion. These are just a few of my thoughts on other examples of what to use foolish burial with. I cannot wait for this card.

Slightly more complicated than that. One Manty needs to be on your field or in your hand, then send the other to the graveyard with Foolish. Also works with Next to be Lost if you can get a Manty on the field. Yeah, that deck was the first one I made on WC2007, being such a fierce Exodia user. Can.not.wait for Foolish to come out. ^^ I already have the real deck built and waiting for FB.
P.S. - Watch out for Torrentials or variations of Trap Hole lol. Just one and you're basically boned.

Untrue. Only T.T. could hurt you. You could always call priority so you would "dodge" the BTH. Though, T.T. should still kill the new manticore.
so what ur saying is u can use manticores effect in the graveyard to tribute the manticore that has been targeted by Bottomless during the end phase?
I don't see why not. You still have priority. Though, it would only work if Manticore's "send a beast to the graveyard" is a cost, and...

Sending monsters to the Graveyard for "Manticore of Darkness"' effect is a cost.
Yeah...
It'd be like
Chain Link 1 - Manticore
Chain Link 2 - BTH
Chain resolves backwards. BTH tries to remove Manticore, but since the manticore in the grave sent the other manticore to the grave as a cost, BTH has nothing to remove, so it resolves without an effect, then the new Manticore pops up.
EDIT: Looking back, T.T. won't really change the situation, as it will still only hit the field with nothing on it (assuming Manticore was your only monster)
