So, this is the deck that I have been working on, and I love it. I know that there are more support cards for Dark Magician, but I have tested them, and don't like them. The side deck has a bit of everything, and a couple of cards are of personal experience, and they help. The Messenger helps stall for a turn or two, or bait a heavy when I need to set something. This deck is all around pretty fast. I know when to hold my cards, and wait for a set-up. I have so much M/T destruction in here, I will laugh if my opponent relies on his magic or trap cards. This deck has been winning for me time after time, and is really getting me hooked. Samurai got boring, so I needed to mess around with something else. Some people might look at Sorcerer of Dark Magic like "what"? But that guy is awesome. I know it is kinda hard to get out, but in the end, it is worth it. I thought about making a side deck with Magician Burn, and Volcanics. I think I will try that this Saturday. Any ideas for that side? How does the deck look, and what do you guys think about the match ups? I have fared well so far, the only problems being a heavy negation deck, which I faced, and heavy stall, i.e.-Reaper and Mallon. Nothing else really gives me too many problems. I need some of your guys' opinions. I love getting Dark Elf and DDV early game against Apprentice Monarch. Very Nice. All R/F's will be returned. Peace..Y.

w00t! this is probably the first time i have seen a spellcaster deck that actually use sorcerer of dark magic since magicial scientist was banned. this deck looks awesome. i like it. the only thing i recommend is add magician of faith, but i dont know what to tell u to take out. maybe you will figure it out. overall, 9/10. good job.

You know I know you probably tested those afromentioned cards before but despite that, I'm still gonna offer my suggestions :P

First off, though Chaos Command Magician is a great card, 7 tributes with 2 special summon high tributes is a bit iffy for me. I want to scrap all 3 for Dark Magician Girl. Yes you probably tried them and they didn't work but consider:
1) Bait for DDV
2) Benefit from DM's in the graveyard
3) Benefit for a card I'm gonna suggest

I also consider putting in Magician of Faith, you're gonna need it for magic renewal.

Spells, well....not much to suggest.

Traps, I want you to try to fit 2 Magician's Circle. Why? Well it brings out most targets (including the DMG I recommended) and even though the opponent benefits the worst you can suspect is either Apprentice or IFL. Breaker is nothing without it's counter and Faith is weak when forced in attack mode.

Hey Kaisa. I like the Dark Magician Girl idea, but you are right, I did try it. The only reason I went with the Chaos Command Magicians, is the fact that it can't be spun, or destroyed my monster effects, which is what I would be vulnerable against with all of my M/T removal. Good stats for a one trib. Very nice. I will test your idea again on YVD over the next few days, and will post the results here every day. I will play about five matches each day with it. I am going to go try yours out right now. Then we will see. I never turn your ideas down, so maybe there is something I was missing. I will post what I faced, LP left for opponent, and how many turns surpassed. That is what I usually do anyway with all of my decks in real life to get the logistics of all of my decks.

Well i do LOVE Dark Magician Decks.......But Love BEWD better................me and my buddy ran each i BEWD........him DM.......we almost always tied ( back when Ring Of Destrution was Unbanned )

But one card that is quite nice in a deck with high tribs is Gilasoarus.........quite a random card, but in my DM deck ( originaly my friends, but traded for a Dark World) we used a combo that was able to auto shut down the Field of traps in the first turn.................

this is how it went.............Gilasaurus............sak it, because it was a Special Summon...............sak it for DM Girl........use Sages Stone ( we had 2 )...........sak that for Sorcerer Of Dark Magic............


But i dont see much that i would say to do, if you dont wanna use the DM Girl and Sages Stone thing...........cause you run Chaos Command........but nice deck though.................

Yeah, he was easier to get out when we had The Scientist. Thanks for the rate on my deck, and I will get to yours as soon as I can. Thanks, I love Dark Magician, and I am trying very hard to make him competitive. Blue Eyes is very good as well, and I will be making a deck built around him very soon.

I tried the Skilled Dark Magicians, and side deck them every once in a while. They kind of contradict what the Dark Magic Curtains do. They Special Summon Dark Magician from the deck. Which is why I thought that I would get more options out of Dark Elf, being fodder for Deck Devastation Virus. I have alot of angles for this deck. Skilled Dark is a good option though, and he goes in every once in a while. Depends on what I feel like side decking for the weekend. Thanks Aromis, and anyone else today? Thanks, Peace..Y.

I've been sitting here for about 50 minutes, trying to figure out how to make the deck more stable without removing the majority of it's theme. Dark Magician decks are hard, and really personal things.

If you were to swap it to a less DM-centric deck, I'd suggest:
