I'm guessing you're asking if you use Gemini Summoner's effect to summon a 5-star or higher Gemini Sub-Type monster, do you have to Tribute for it?

The answer (IMO) is both yes and no, depending on the situation.

If you're trying to use Gemini Summoner's effect to summon the Gemini monster from your HAND, then I believe the effect would work similarly to Ultimate Offering, and you still need to offer a Tribute(s) to summon the monster.

However, if the Gemini monster is already face-up on the field, then you do not have to offer any tributes to Second Summon it and activate its effect(s).

Actually Magic, I have to disagree with you. It doesn't specify in Summoners card text that it has to be certain level, or you have to tribute for Level 5 or higher. I would have to say that you don't have to tribute for a Level 5 or Higher Gemini Monster. This might change things a little bit. I never really read the text that way. I still could be wrong though. I will call Gameplay at UDE, and get the correct ruling on this. I will post it later.

However, Ultimate Offering does not specify a level either, yet you still need to Tribute for monsters of 5 stars or higher. Nothing in Summoner's text suggests that you do not have to Tribute monsters, yet we already have a card that works similarly and has such rulings already stated.
