The sond six arc has n=finally started, and so far, despite a few major censorship problems (c'mon, they won't even let Jirobou say garbage?), everything is looking pretty sweet! I forgot Choji used that trick with the kunai, it was awesome!
For those that don't know, the sound six are:
(spelling may be incorrect)
Jirobou: This earth-stlye Barrier specialist is enormous both in size, and power! Capturing everyone who goes after Sasuke, it takes a lot for the entire team to break out. The team moves on, leaving Choji to fight the behemoth monster. In the end, Jirobou goes to level two curse mark stage, and Choji sacrifices his life (and still lives... >sigh<) to kill him.
Kodomaru: The second of the sound six, and Neji's opponent. With extra arms, and web-spitting capabilities, Kodomaru is the true Spiderman. He is a gaming long range fighter, with an entire arsenal of enormous arachnids that Neji has to defend against. At stage two, Kodomaru grows two extra horns, (if memory serves), an extra eye, and his ability to make bows and arrows out of his webbing and chakra is enhanced. Neji, obviously outmatched due to the fact that Kodomaru is a long-range fighter, while he is close-range, takes a webbing arrow through the chest, sending chakra up through it to stop Kodomaru's heart. This one is easily the best fights in all of Naruto thus far.
SakonAkon: These two are one, yet seperate. Their Kekke genkai enables them to enhance, modify, and merge their molecules. They can merge with their opponent, and kill them one cell at a time, though still incredibly quickly. The two of them were identical twins in the womb, and due to their bloodline trait accidentaly merged. The damage is reversable, but only at the cost of incredible physical exhaustion, and the fix is only temporary. While fighting Kiba, SakonAkon merge with him, slowly killing Kiba cell by cell. When Kiba grabs a kunai, SakinAkon warns Kiba that if they die, Kiba dies. Stabbing himself in the stomache, Kiba frees himself from the grasp of SakonAkon, apolagizing to Akamaru for dying on him. Amazingly, while SakonAkon is reeling, Kiba finds the strength to grab Akamaru and run down river. When SakonAkon finds them, they are saved by Kankuro, who easily defeats the twins, even after they achieve stage two.
The fifth (or fourth) member of the sound six (or five) is Tayuya. A genjutsu caster, demon-summoner, and future mother to Shikamaru's babies, Tayuya is a foul-mouthed long range type who lets others do her fighting for her. In a battle against Shikamaru, she summons three demons, each of which have the power to tear chakra from the opponent's body. Shikamaru, mimicing the way Tayuya's fingers move, finds a way to control the demons. Tayuya activates level one curse mark, and calls her pets off, casting a genjutsu on Shikamaru. Using his shadow to break his own finger, Shikamaru is snapped out of the Genjutsu, sending a shadow at Tayuya. She activates level two at this time, and breaks out of the shadow bind jutsu. Shikamaru is able to catch her again, but this time tries a shadow neck-hold technique on her. He finds he hasn't enough chakra to complete it, and She breaks through. Just before she leaves him to die, Temari saves the day and kills Tayuya. (If you ask me, she was just jealous that Tayu and Shiky were gonna make babies. We all know it! Their chemistry during the fight was too intense to ignore.)
Last but not least, Kimimaro, or the bone guy, as dragon so adequately called him, is supposedly the strongest of the sound six (but if you ask me, Id' say that it's easily SakonAkon or Kodomaru.) As a member of the Kaguya clan, his keke genkai allows him to manipulate calcium, among other things, to create bones. Firing them from his body, he uses them as an entire arsenal of weapons. Launching his own finger bones at Gaara as bullets, for example, or sprouting bone spikes all over his body and spinning at an amazing rate. With the ability to harden his bones using chakra, he is forced to fight first Naruto, then Lee, then Gaara. Still, he almost survives, and is nearly able to kill them all.
nah, Neji/Kidomaru was best in terms of battle, but overall, especially with Dialogue, I'll have to say Choji vs. Jirobou... How do you spell his name, anyway?
I'm a little worried about whether or not they'll chancge the Sakon/Ukon Fight with Kankuro.. look at the way he died... if Jirobou can't say garbage, and Tayuya can't say Fatass or ######, how exactly can they justify locking him in a dark lonely place and shoving a million spikes through him? I mean, I know they're too lazy to actually reanimate it and stuff, but isn't putting something like that over something as simple and silly as words a little much? The worse of tweo evils they choose to go with, one could say.
I don't think they'll change it. It's not like the ACTUALLY show Sakon/Ukon getting pierced. They just show the knives going in, and we, as the viewers, can pretty much guess what happens.
It's a pity Tayuya can't cuss in that show. Another good reason why I don't watch dub ^.^ Sub is so much better anyways ^.^
Well, I suppose you have a point there Xav.... Also, the japanese will always be better than the dub... I tell ya one thing that worries me though... They skipped like, 18 episodes of filler to get to the sound 5 arc... I'm glad they';re going through most of the filler, but some of it IS kinda necessary, just to show you how the other characters are developing. the Bikochou arc for Hinata, for instance, or it's always cool to see old bad guys come back, so they could include the sea monster arc as well... and that one's only two episodes anyway. And who doesn't want to see Yoroi and Mizumi again?
