I know UDE's site and Netrep say Megamorph changes the current attack, but i currently need to know if the EFFECT of Megamorph changes the original attack like the cards says. If so, much more combo-able than i thought. Now, the other question. This probably doesn't work, but the interaction of both Spring of Rebirth and Degenerate Circuit out at the same time in a bounce deck?

They recently amended the rulings for megamorph, so this is the first time I can answer a question about megamorph without "and" and "but", followed by a large rant.

Megamorph references the original attack of a monster and creates a new current attack of twice the original attack. The rulings where the new attack value after megamorph was applied appeared to be a new ORIGINAL attack were all amended. So the new ATK value after megamorph is applied is merely current ATK.

On your question I'm likely to agree it doesn't work because of the wording on degenerate circuit. Since it sends them to RFP INSTEAD of to the hand, spring of rebirth wouldn't trigger. It would have worked if degenerate circuit said it removed cards that were actually returned to the hand. Pity, would indeed be a nice combo.

With DC active, the card never is returned to the hand, making SoR unable to activate.

Well, at least Spring of Rebirth would allow a bounce deck to throw in Solemn Judgments and be able to recover from them. *cackles evilly*

If you want to use Degenerate Circuit, go with Soul Absorption instead.

The fun in the original idea was that either card alone would still pay off. This is a genuine combo that only works when you have both cards. Soul absorption will become a dead card when you don't have circuit.
