actually, i think u could, becuz tributing a 2500 dark monster is the cost for EEV, not part of the effect. At least I tihnk that's right. anyone feel free to correct me if im wrong

Thats the way it goes, so if you activate EEV, you would tribute LaDD before anything and it would not negate EEV.

No...the reason why LaDD can't negate DDV or EEV is because they send LaDD to the grave before LaDD can use his effect.

So then with pheonix wing wind blast.....they summon LADD...chain wind blast...pay cost...discard a card....send LADD to the top of the deck? is that right as well? Because then he would no longer be on the field right?

No because LaDD is still face up by the time PWWB tries to resolve. The reason why EEV works is because it is a cost, and therefore LaDD would be in the grave when EEV resolves.

I apologize for my ignorance but what about snipe hunter? I think LADD would negate it once as longas it is the first chain but what happens after that? Thanks.:surprised

What happens after what? Snipe gets negated there's nothing more.

I think he meant if anything else is chained after LaDD tries to negate the Snipe Hunter.

Heres how it works. Once an effect is activated, LaDD will trigger to negate it and start a chain link 2. However, anything else thats chained afterwards will be safe from LaDD's effect because his second effect can only trigger once per chain.

So in your scenario, Snipe Hunter activates, pays the cost and targets LaDD. LaDD triggers to negate it and starts chain link 2. Then say for example someplay activates Raigeki Break and targets LaDD in chain link 3. LaDD has already triggered once and Raigeki Break will resolve normally when the chain is done.
