There is a time limit to shuffle and Side Deck cards in between games. There is no way a Deck of 300 cards can "sufficiently" be shuffled in a timely manor. It may be legal to use, but I guarantee that if I were the opponents, I would be calling for a Slow Play Penalty every chance I got, and eventually the player would get enough warnings for the same offense, they would most likely drop or get DQ'd.
Or you get a warning for continuously trying to get someone penalized for a technicality ... I mean seriously : If you can't beat a guy with a 300 card deck without calling a judge, you need help ...

Thats funny.
ANd you can use it.
Just i would go with a deck that uses searchers and makes the deck even smaller over time.....
I played a deck that used like 150 cards......i almost lost......like decked.......but i somehow won, they can be good if you have atlease some stratgy

You're missing the entire point. How do you shuffle a Deck with 300 Cards "sufficiently"? Youre "Deck" is taking my time up to shuffle, and its not benefiting me to just give it back to you "unshuffled" is it?
Before this turns into a debate about whether someone can play a thousand card Deck, I would suggest thoroughly reading the Tournament Rules and Penalty Guidelines from UDE's Website. This game isnt built on what we'd "like" to do, or how we "think" we can play, which is why every Sanctioned Event has Judges instead of players making the Rulings.
And as a judge and a player I stand by my opinion. It doesn't take a lot of shuffling to avoid a stacked deck with a 300 card deck. For me, that's sufficiently randomized, keeping him from knowing what he'll draw. That's actually considerably easier with a 300 card deck.
I guess you are looking too much into "sufficiently". You could spread the deck out, whirl your hands across it and put it back together and it would be as random as it gets. That doesn't take a lot of time.
Maybe ... just maybe, I could agree with you if those 300 cards were all stall and LP gain. Even then I don't think it could do anything at 300 cards, but that would perhaps demonstrate an intent to stall when shuffling takes up more time. But then that's why sanctioned events have judges instead of players making the rulings ... to judge intent.
I would have said that he is cheating because he would HAVE to have been knocking the deck over.
Basic physics, anything that is twice as tall as wide or long then it is going to tip over. I would say that the first time he tiped the deck over and couldnt put them back right he is cheating.
And yea Blue, it be funny if you get decked by a 300 card deck
Wasn't every post after yours arguing about how possible it is to shuffle a 300-card deck in a timely-manner? >_> They may not have directly quoted you, but they're talking about what you said, it seems...
this game is dictated by probabilities, and fact is that the probability of drawing any cards in a 300 card deck that you would need would be severely less than a 40 card deck. so as xav said if he can shuffle the deck without taking to much time it is fine. I think it would be funny to see the face of the judge that would have to deck check that though.

Why sink so low? There is no Strategic 300 card deck. So more than likely if you are smarter than a monkey, You are going to win the duel regardless. Rule sharking someone stupid enough to use a 300 card deck in a tournament is just lame.
