Quick question ...if I use SoM to Special Summon a Gemini monster.
if I were to Normal Summon it during the same turn would it still go to the grave during the end phase?

No b/c its gemeni form is activate or "turned on" and its no longer a normal monster.

Birthright. And its still the same monster that was Special Summoned from the Graveyard. Changing it to a Effect Monster doesn't change the fact that it was summoned by Swing of Memories. It will still be destroyed at the End Phase of the turn.

"It" equals "The Monster", not "Normal Monster".

Special Summon 1 Normal Monster from your Graveyard. It is destroyed during the End Phase of this turn.

WEll, Swing is good For Blazewing Butterfly, Dragonray Bronto, and Magical Reflect Slime, at least. Bronto you use for attack, and he goes bye instead of staying in DEF; Butterfly you special, activate effect, then tribute it to get a keeper Gemini. MRS works because you activate it, then attack an opponent's big monster and make them take the damage.
