One of the most simple definitions in dueling is one i dont quite understand. Is Battle Damage LP damage resulting from a battle? And in that case what would waboku do? If my monster is destroyed and I play waboku the monster is still destroyed?
I just dont really get the definition of battle damage
Battle Damage is damage resulting from a monster(s) declaring an attack and either causing a decrease to their opponent's life points because of damage calculation, or they end up losing life points because they attacked a monster with higher defense.
For example:
My Vorse Raider(1900) attacks your Mystical Elf (2000) while the elf is in defense position. The difference between the two stats is 100, with the latter having more points; I would take 100 points of battle damage as a result of this battle.
My Vorse Raider (1900) attacks you directly, and you have nothing to prevent the attack from occuring. After damage calculation, you would receive 1900 points of battle damage as a result of this attack.
An attack must be declared in order for battle damage to occur.
Waboku reduces any battle damage done to the player (the one who activated it) to zero. Waboku would also prevent that player's monster(s) from being destroyed in battle the turn it is activated.
This means that my scapegoat token at 0 atk can attack a Blue Eyes White Dragon (3000) and not be destroyed, and I also would take no battle damage.
Do you understand now? Or would you like more clarification?
By the way, I noticed you have "Des Wombat and Solemn Judgment" in your sig as a combo. They don't work together like that because Des Wombat prevents effect damage, it would not prevent your life points from being halved by the activation cost of Solemn Judgment. You are willingly paying life, it is not considered damage.
