This may sound stupid , but I was wondering if a trap monster can be resurrected from the graveyard with cards like Premature Burial, Call of the Haunted, etc.
The reason I ask is, trap monster cards say after it is activated "this card is treated as a normal/effect monster card".
So would it still be treated as one in the grave? It doesn't say its treated as long as its on field, so I'm assuming it even counts if it is in the grave...
No, once a Trap Monster leaves the field or is no longer face-up (or if Traps are negated), it is no longer considered a monster. Check Embodiment of Apophis for the ruling. I'd post it myself, but my internet is getting messed up lately, so I can't visit certain sites all the time. =\

It is also still treated as a Trap Card as well, so both monster and Trap are together on the field. Just thought I'd toss that in just in case you werent clear on that.
