I just recently picked up a copy of Metal Reflect Slime, and I noticed something interesting. The way it is worded, it does not use up the Spell and Trap zone you played it in once it has been activated. From this, we can infer that if a face-down Metal Reflect Slime is targeted by Raiza, and then activated in response, it will not be spun back to the top of your deck, since it's position on the field has changed, and the target of Raiza's effect is no longer there.
Am I correct about this?
Just for simplicity:
Quote
After activation, Special Summon this card in Defense Position; it is treated as an Effect Monster Card (Aqua-Type/WATER/Level 10/ATK 0/DEF 3000). This card cannot attack. (This card is still treated as a Trap Card.)
What do you mean it doesn't take up a Spell/Trap Zone? It's text is exactly the same as the other Trap Monster's... It has the "(This card is still treated as a Trap Card)" text.
Yeah, I just read Embodiment of Apophis's text, and the rulings are the same. It seems that for some reason it still takes up a Spell and Trap card zone, too.
Drat, that would have been a good trick. Oh, well, thanks anyway.
[Edit: I read through some more of the rulings, and man, they do not make any sense at all...]
