Hi, I was just wondering if anyone can REALLY explain me the effect of magical Hats trap card? It seems I CAN use the top 3 cards in my deck and place them on the field FACE DOWN (including the monster i am protecting) and LAST there until my opponent decides which one to choose??
is this too good to be truth?
Play hats on macrocosmos 3 times and you got your 20 card engine running like silk by turn 3!
Play that on macro-gravity and you got maju daiza hitting killer! (not to mention homunculus!)
So, am I correct or wrong? (the unused cards will go to the graveyards aftewards)
The same appplies to that other magic card that "chooses" a monster randomly on the field to be destroyed (and you also have to pick cards from your own deck) -that card won Jinzo to Joey vs Espa-Roba on battle city.
sorry you misread magical Hats. You can only activate this card during your opponents Battle Phase. Select 2 non-Monster Cards from your Deck and 1 of your Monster Cards on the field, then shuffle your Deck. Shuffle the 3 selected cards and Set them on the field in face-down Defense Position. The 2 cards selected from your Deck are treated as monsters (ATK 0/DEF 0) and are destroyed at the end of the Battle Phase.You can only use this effect during your opponent's Battle Phase.
They go in defense mode in the monster zone. You can abuse some traps with this, but it won't help Macro much at all. It helps flip effect monsters as well since you can for example flip Morphing Jar then you have a set Magical Hats to protect your attack position Morphing Jar. Combo that with a few traps that say when destroyed you can ... or if sent to the graveyard you can... then you will get your flip effect if they attack it, or you have 2 traps that will give you some effect if they attack that. Or also magic cards like Fuhma Shureken or whatever it's called, Black Pendant type cards so if they attack that then they take X amount of damage and you still have your monster.
wait! so you mean if i used sakuretsu armour and another one, my opponent attacked a saku, would it kill their monster? or just die and do nothing as its treating as a monster?
No man, he meant, take cards, and place them like monsters because of magical effect´s.
There are TRAP cards like:
Statue of the wicked
and Magic Cards like:
Fuhma Shuriken
Black pendant
That say in their text: when this card is sent to the g-yard (insert following effect here).
Now...can someone help me with a longer list of cards really useful for this= I tried the combo morphing jar. it´s awesome! now with 2 book of moons, Crystal seers seem to be the way in. with those wicked tokens I can pass them to the other side of the field and gain a monster.
