Hand destruction says:

Each player sends 2 cards from their hand to the Graveyard and draws 2 cards.

Since I'm pretty sure you cant make your opponent pay a cost the send 2 cards has to be part of the effect right?

Assuming it is, does that mean that hand destruction triggers dark world?

I'm sure theres something stupid I'm missing but if hand d. does trigger darkw world then they just got a huge boost.

It's not a cost, it's part of the effect, and even so it say SEND not discard. So dark world would not activate anyways. Costs can be decided by it saying do this to get this.

Thats the stupid thing I was missing, for some reason I thought DW had to be sent instead of discarded. Its been awhile since I played with them so I completely forgot, nevertheless its a problem which could have easiyl been solved by reading : /
