hi, i "pulled" mist archfiend today, hoping to put it in my deck. if i activated cost down, used cost down's effect to normal summon mist archfiend, would i have to destroy it and pay 1000 l/p? bear in mind im not using its effect but instead cost down. chhers, arh.

2) No, because you normal summoned it with the aid of an outside effect. Your card will not be destroyed by its own effect because you never activated its effect.

nice pull dude, its a sweet card... it also works pretty well with ectoplasmer. since you can tribute it for ectoplasmer b4 it dies/does 1k damage to you. so your opponent takes damage instead, 1200points of damage to be exact^^
