Question.

if I have Cyber Ouroboros & Cyber Valley out. Can I activate Valley's 2nd effect, tribute both, draw 2 cards then activate Ouroboros effect?

Would I miss the timing?

When you remove it from play, you are still resolving Cyber Valley's effect. When you finish, the last thing to happen was adding one card to the top of your deck, not Ouroboros being removed from play. Thus, its timing is missed.

I thought so...just was do some brainstorming.

yesterday I was playing with these cards, and the following scenario happened:

I played Allure of Darkness. Drew my 2 cards. ouroboros came in one. I REMOVE him due to Allure. then HE being THE LAST THING to HAPPEN, I discarded one card to the graveyard* and I discarded a DD SURVIVOR.

Now, here´s the deal: I had D-fissure active already on the field. and my opponent says: you can´t draw to Ouroboros , because your card didn´t and couldn´t hit the graveyard!

I say: WHAT? Ouroboros says: discard * TO THE GRAVEYARD. then I read that line and got angry. because this mean that I had to discard anything but monsters (since d-fissure is active) in order for the COST to be fulfilled.

But LAST I RECALL: DISCARD TO THE GRAVEYARD didn´t require YOU THE CARD HIT THE GRAVEYARD ACTUALLY. DID IT?

please someone help me out on this one.
In the end I discarded a magic card, and continued the duel. but this wasn´t fare.

Actually it does mean exactly that, if a card needs to go to the grave as a cost, it needs to go to the grave.

When you activated Allure, after you drew 2, what did yoi discard? If it was Survivor it wouldn't come back.
If it was Ouroboros you wouldn't get its effect either because Fissure was acitve.
Your friend was right, the card you discard for Ouroboros has to hit the grave.

ok thanks man. as I stated they made me re-play the move and I had to discard a magic Card.it´s all good for the game. :D

I played Allure, drew 2 cards. Discarded Ouroboros. since it´s out of the game, I discarded +1 card to get my +1 card from deck. that´s what I discarded. and yes I know DD survivor has to begone from face up THE FIELD.

First off, I'd just like to point out that you do not discard for either Allure or Cyber O.. You remove the monster from play with Allure, and you send a card from your hand to the Graveyard with Cyber O..

Second, just what exactly are you trying to point out? I believe it was already explained in this thread that you cannot send D.D. Survivor for Cyber O.'s effect because D. Fissure was on the field, and you MUST send the card to the Graveyard in order to get the effect (this is a cost to activate the effect).

If you have a different question, or are trying to point out something else, then please make it a little more clear.
