I have 2 questions that really need to be answered before a tournment this sat

1. Can a GB that was "tag in" be solemn?

2. Can u solemn heraklinos when he is summoned

Just to help confirm what deck_wraith said, Solemn Judgment can stop anything. So it will stop the Gladiator Beast cards in their tracks.

solemn cannot stop anything. it will on the other hand stop gladiator beasts.

Not to stray off topic, but what can't Solemn stop?

Solemn Judgment can't stop monster effects, for one.

Speaking of which, don't the GB's summoning effects use the chain?

*EDIT* According to the general rules for GB's found on Alexander, they DO use the chain. Since they use the chain, I fail to see how you can Solemn Judgment them. You'd have to use Divine Wrath.

About the Gladiator Beast Summoning effects, I have no idea. Netrep doesn't have anything about it.

also you cant solemn a monster being specialed summoned by dashers effect since u would have to negate dasher and not the effect of the special summoning and since dashers in the grave u theres no way to solemn it

Well, I knew you couldn't negate Cemetery effects, but right on.

Just to make everything clear you cannot solemn judgment a Gladiator Beast monster being special summoned by another gladiator beast monster's effect.

Oooops, edited, I was only reading the question and though it was only about Heraklinos not Gladiator Beasts in general.

can u explain how can heraklinos be solemned? because to my understanding he gets special summoned by have 3 GB's on the field. last i checked thats being special summoned by another GB. unless there is another ruling im not familiar with.

This card can only be Special Summoned from your Fusion Deck, by returning the above cards you control to the Deck. (You do not use "Polymerization") You can discard 1 card from your hand to negate the activation of a Spell or Trap Card and destroy it. You can use this effect during either player's turn.


Where do you get that to be an "EFFECT" from a GB? It's just like any other summoning condition.
