What are the best ways to play a FTK and not be effected by their side deck? What cards would you side in if you were the one playing the FTK?
Now what are the best side deck choices to bring in against the FTK's?
I know Crush can be used against them to prevent a lot of the draw power. I like Rainbow Life, Crow is a common choice.
FOr bringing in something I would think Twister and MST if not main decked to prevent Royal Oppressions. One awesome choice I just saw was Kycoo. It's Dark and when removed and returned to the field with D Fusion, they can't use Crow anymore so if they have no M/T they are pretty screwed.
Not sure if this exactly fits into this thread but I was wondering about a couple of FTK/OTK's and how they worked?
First; Jinzo / Jinzo returner, how does this work?
Second; Cyber Valley / DMOC, how does this work?
Jinzo/Jinzo Returner.
Future Fusion Chimera, sending 1 Cyber Dragon, 3 Jinzo, and 3 Jinzo returner..... Summon 3 Jinzo via returners effect.
Vallley/Dmoc, you need Spell economics, and Dimension fusion.... just keep drawing, (remove both draw 2, fusion valley/dmoc get back fusion... keep going till youve got game)
Frost, if the ftk is playing Hand Destruction/Card Destruction Neko Mane King is very intresting.... End your opponents turn right there.
FTK's are Cyber Valley with DMOC, Dimension Fusion and Spell Economics and the other style is just draw engine using 3 D Draw's, 3 Trade-In's, 3 Allures, then you mill til you get Shadow Priestess, DMOC, D Fusion, and Spell economics. Crow counters that by removing D Fusion once it hits the grave the first time and Kycoo stops crow. My version doesn't play hand destruction, but that would be a good side choice. Most people that I saw sided Sillva's and Crow's. It's a cheap deck, but pretty dang consistent.
Against the Shadowpriestes and Fireprincess OTK (with DMOC, Valley, diamond dude, etc.) I use Cold Wave, Hero's Rule 2, and Divine Wrath, and maybe a White Horned Dragon to remove from play that annoying Dimension Fusion :) (if anyone knows a quicker way let me know xD )
EDIT: nevermind I read the above post, thats right D.D. Crow would work, gonna side two of those now. xD
I can beat that........ at the sneak peak one guy was playing Dark Deal, (He misunderstood the effect before constructed started.... so it was basicly a Magic Jammer, with a 1000 lp cost)
he tied for first at X-1...... He stumped everybody with it.

The Valley FTK has very few weaknesses beyond D.D. Crow, given that it can constantly recycle Stratos to blow up your back row, taking care of Cursed Seals, Bribes, Macro etc. and recycle any tech pieces like Spell Eco that hit the grave.
If I were the one playing the deck - and I'm speaking from experience, I've used Toon Cannon Soldier FTK - I'd side in D.D. Designator. Simply declare Crow before you start the combo and you're sorted.
