So Blue's talk about a Clock Tower deck really got me thinking..... I wonder if I can build one that utilizes it with skill drain. So heres my try at it!
Spells-14
3x Clock Tower Prison
2x Field Barrier
2x Destiny Draw
2x Allure of Darkness
1x Book of Moon
1x Reinforcment of the Army
1x Heavy Storm
1x Brain Control
1x Monster Reborn
Wouldn't Field Barrier be a better choice than Magic Reflector? Also, wouldn't Eternal Dread be better than Pyro Clock? And Finally, what about D Hero Dread Servant?
You are aboslutely right..... lol I was going off the top of my head when I was making this deck.... Im just not to sure about dread servant yet.....Eternal Dread will def, be going in instead of pyro clock
what i find hilarious is this deck, fundamentally, does the same thing as my Plasma Cloud Deck. no Opponent effects, turtles until it goes off, and no battle damage. Oh, and both have 3 copies of an 8* D Hero.
That is a completely different approach to what CC used to be. I personally like the burn version much more, but if you wanna go that way, i would highly suggest you remove defenders and add more dogma/ plasmas whcich support your draw engine, and are also 8 star monsters, like Barbaros and Fussilier, so you can add more spped with Trade in.
Monk only fetces you Stratos and defenders, and you dont get that much of an advantage from any of those, as defender is just a defending monster, and Stratos may be a +1 d draw, allure, trade-in food in your hand, but your engine runs enough targets for your draw cards to never worry about that.
I also dont like the random Necro gardna.
Magic reflector is better than field barrier. In those kinds of decks, you need all the s/t space you can get. And field barrier stays on the field...
Book of moon does not acomplish anything too, and i dont like the lack of terraformings.
Moreover, 3 eternal dreads are too much. I ran 1 in the past, or none. Clock gets filled with counters faster than you can lose, even without dreads. And thats the whole point of the deck.
Also, Solemns and Bribes, or else dont run the deck. You need to protect those things you have on field.
The point is, not to lose till it gets 4 counters. Then you dont get damage anyway, so you dont care even if you have only 50 lp. Swarming is a problem, so with blackwings rising, and ls around, and gbs, where the clock is basically a continious Waboku for them, it may be a bad meta to run this. Skill Drain is the only thing that stops the other two, but with books of moon x3 in gbs, and heavy s/t removal in all sides, dont think it will stay for long on the field, plus, blackwings dont get hurt at all by Drain.
At least somebody remembered Dread Servant, but no Dreadmaster at all in the build?? Dogma is bad enough, but then when u throw YET ANOTHER 8-star out like D-master, that's when yur opponent starts developing a nervous tic.
