Ok, so for SJC Los Angeles, I'm working on a Gravekeeper deck. But, rather than be a dedicated GK build, it's mainly a deck that uses Necrovalley to be anti-meta, and GK's swarming abilities to enable Synchro Summons. I only have 8 GK monsters in it. So, what tips do the CCGRealms community have for me? So far, I'm using Gilasaurus for his synergy with Necrovalley, his speed, and his level (all of the GK's I'm using are level 4, but Gila is level 3). I'm also using Deep Sea Diva, due to her speed, and her versatility with Synchro Summons. I'm trying to keep random Tech to a minimum, and I want to make Synchro Summoning big monsters the main win condition. So, what else can I put in to facilitate that?
BTW, I'd like to point out: If you use Brionac to discard your monsters, and bounce your opponent's field, and then use Royal Tribute to see every one of your opponent's cards while also ridding them of monsters, while losing no cards of your own because you discarded them for Brionac, you are a mean, brilliant person, and we should hang out.

that is indeed evil. send the night assailent in your hand to fetch back your spy in the process?
Well, Night Assailant wouldn't work with Necrovalley on the field unless you bounce it back first, of course.
Anyways, Summon Priest could be useful to sneak out those Level 4 Gravekeeper's from your Deck.
Magician's Circle as well especially given Spellcasters are pretty much non-existent in the "standard" Decktypes these days, thus it becomes more one-sided and gives you an extra Gravekeeper's monster from your Deck.
Can't go wrong with Dimension Magic/"Magical Dimension" and Tribute off a used up Gravekeeper's Spy or Guard and get out something else like Assailant while also getting rid of (another) one of your opponent's monsters.
Prophecy of the Future King/"Enlightenment" can be good for some extra damage or monster removal.
Tuned Magician could be used with Summon Priest, Magician's Circle, or Dimension Magic and Normal Summoned again to make it a Level 4 Tuner.

Thanks for pointing out the Night Assailant thing. I'm still going to use it, but now I'll be extra careful about when I activate it. As for your suggestions, I really like the first 3, and I'll give some thought to the other two. Enlightenment seems a little too slow for where I want to take this deck, but Tuned Magician might work.
I suppose as at least a Sidedeck option, Dark Armed Dragon could be considered given Gravekeeper's are DARK and easy to fill the Graveyard with and Necrovalley won't prevent you from activating its effect since the removal is a cost.
The Tricky could actually be another discard thing (with Royal Tribute or Night Assailant or something) for a quick Level 5 if need be.
Allure of Darkness is an obvious choice, but for more draw power, you could try out Barrier of the Magic Tribe/"Arcane Barrier". At the very least, it can provide m/t removal distractions.
Too bad about Necrovalley or I'd suggest Magical Exemplar. Then again, I guess it can be Sidedecked if one uses Gravekeeper's Chief (Main or Sidedeck).
And if it weren't for the timing, I'd say wait for ABPF (February =\ )and get Gravekeeper's High Priest, Gravekeeper's Descendant, and Gravekeeper's Lithograph. With Tuners involved, Apocatequil could've been something to think about with its 1st effect (Level 4 that is treated as Level 5 while face-up alongside a face-up Tuner).

Well, DAD is out of my price range, but those others intrigue me, except for Allure which I was already planning on. Since I have Exemplar AND a lone Chief, I now know some of my Sidedeck. Thanks.

If I knew where Castle Card actually was then we would be hanging out because I have wanted to do this for so long!
If you plan on using Mystic Tomato, Magicians Circle, Magical Dimension, etc. try out a Night's End Sorcerer. So if for any reason that Necrovalley get blown up or before it gets out you have a way to disrupt the graveyard.
Otherwise go for Flamvell Magician, not just cuz its Spellcaster, but because its the only Level 4 Tuner that can't get hit with BTH, except in the rare and WTF case of you having Ally of Justice - Catastor on the field. That and Summoner Monk makes a easy Stardust to protect Necrovalley.
Secret Village of the Spellcaster with Royal Decree could always be fun and annoying.

I would just like to point out....
"Necrovalley" negates costs and effects that require removing cards from the Graveyard. So "Necrovalley" WILL prevent a player from removing cards in the Graveyard from play to activate the effect of "Bazoo the Soul-Eater" or "Chaosrider Gustaph". "Necrovalley" WILL prevent a player from removing cards in the Graveyard from play to Special Summon "Dark Necrofear" or "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning". "Necrovalley" WILL negate card effects like "Big Burn", "Gravedigger Ghoul", "Disappear", and "Soul Release".
Bah, I knew I was mixing something up with The End of Anubis (which can be another Sidedeck option).
Oh well, at least it'd still be an easy beatstick given Gravekeeper's lack any bigger beatsticks besides Chief (at 2400 with Necrovalley) until ABPF comes out in which case, we'll have Gravekeeper's High Priest (2500 right off the bat with Necrovalley + 200 for the Tributed Gravekeeper's monster to Special Summon for 2700 + 200 more for each other one in your Graveyard).
I also remember the older days when Waboku was used a bunch...and then I sprung a powered-up Gravekeeper's Vassal, lol.
It's funny that you posted about Gravekeeper's Synchro, an OCG version just popped up on Shriek today. I think it could easily be tweaked to remove the OCG exclusive cards and optimized for our metagame:

When this card is discarded from the hand to the Graveyard, Special Summon this card to your side of the field.
I've also been working on a TCG version that's a little different which borrows a lot from Bellido Zombies:

Negate the activation and effect of a card that has an effect that destroys 2 or more cards you control and destroy it. Then, you can Special Summon 1 "Stardust Dragon" from your Extra Deck.
Ultra Rare
Oops I missed that one. Starlight Road really seems to good to be true. I wonder if there's any chance they will errata it before it sees print in the TCG like they did with Mind Master.
Needs to be an effect that's able to destroy 2+ cards you control and the Stardust Dragon isn't revivable since it wasn't properly Synchro Summoned. (And it can still miss the timing as the Special Summon is optional.) And there's not really much one could to really make it "worse" than it is. It's sort of a necessary evil when you consider the various mass destruction cards, so such a card will make people more cautious instead of just mindlessly blowing up everything.
cerberal is definately gettign alot of play. its like the tuner that was almost made for LS. and i can see it having a massive impact in here with royal tribute. man, that would be crazy.
Well besides Royal Tribute, DRGBC is great with Dark World. Its the Dark World tuner as far as I am concerned. A Dark World/Gravekeeper hybrid would almost be plausable once Cerebral comes out.... in how many years for us?
